Flag of Lornav

With various noble houses scattered all over the map governing certain parts, or running businesses and trade Lornav is ruled by an old Dynasty that wishes to keep its country strong, prosperous, and independent. It often allows its neighbor, the human state of Dormany to sent troops through its borders whenever the Dormanese are at war.

His Fleet or Wife

A steel frigate named Tall Bitch, Tall Queen the aircraft carrier, latest U-boat dubbed Oceans Claw class, the Battleship Claymore, Patrol Boat known as The Panther, Destroyer Blue Flail, 4 new advanced fighters called EF 78 in the shape of elongated crescent moons made up his small fleet. Having a fleet showed he was more than a capable Admiral in the naval forces of his beloved kingdom. Even better was that he was an Admiral of the Vullanese Turncoat navy that switched sides in the name of Queen Lizan. Coming home made him feel at ease since there were no signs of the invader, or their lapdogs, and slave-servants. He returned home to find his beloved Dark Mage Lulu Castelli-Maimont bent over the counter. She was getting plowed by a large blue monster whom he shot in the head with his Onway revolver. This large blue monster fell on the kitchen floor with a bullet in it skull. He looked at his beloved wife then at the dead monster and back at her. An explanation was required from his own wife. Why did she betray their marriage like this? Sure he was gone for a war, but why did she copulate with a monster? How long had she been doing this? Ever since the Vestrisian Union annexed the Boathrin Kingdom no humanoid associated with the Nazdar were allowed. Was this blue bloated amphibian looking humanoid with black braids, and six tendrils even associated with the Nazdar invaders? Or was he some random off-worlder coming down to please his wife? All the questions circled around his head as they came out. All she uttered was I don't know, and begged him for mercy.

He put the revolver down, showing he could not harm his beloved. Lulu dropped to her knees pleaded for him to stay and visit. It had been five years since she last saw him. Approaching her slowly he left the revolver on the table next to the kitchen door. For some reason he believed he would punch her as the anger built up inside him. He stepped around the corpse to reach her as she had moved away. On his favorite chair in the kitchen rested a barrel bag with the creature's clothing shoved inside. Admiral Maimont looked at the strap that had a metal label. Whoever this blue bloated amphibian was he was known as "Hornblower" and his species was Yeahog. Maimont grabbed the bag and dumped the contents all over the kitchen table. His anger at his wife subsided at the site of a cologne bottle. Out of curiosity he picked it up and sprayed some on himself. Lulu jumped on him, kissing his face ferociously. Her legs were wrapped around him and she began humping him. Maimont could not help but smile at this reaction. Inside was more anger, igniting a hatred for the aliens currently on the island of Veothe. Although he enjoyed making love to her he decided to slap her. Lulu let go dropping to the floor. She held a shocked expression as if she had snapped out of some trans, or dream like state. Studying the bottle for a moment and its contents inside. He was careful not to press the button or trigger again so his wife could control herself. The Admiral Marshall or the closest Mysdran, one of the highest ranks, would have to see this for themselves.

Serving the Vullanese Empire was what he knew until switching sides. Now he had a reason to go against the invaders. Most of his fleet were made up of fanatics who became cut throat towards those who sympathize with Vullan, the invaders, and any outside aliens seeking to take away their people. Each one used to serve Vullan until the truth was revealed to them by a former slave of the Nazdar. His wife, whom he hadn't seen in so long was forced to spread her legs due to some cologne. Either he ditched his crew and left the island or he made sure his wife went into hiding once the whole city was under turncoat control.

Gantronese invaders

"Thank you for joining us. Your majesty, your highness and your excellency. The Gantronese are most happy you have added your realms to the Gantronese Empire. If it is peace you seek we shall bring peace to all your cities, and territories." Shogun Gao Innukai

"Pirates somehow have a hierarchy aboard their ships and privateer vessels. They sail in small fleets of three or four or go alone. Every vessel or cursed scum of a ship have a Captain, First Mate, Second Mate for some odd reason, Quarter Master, Officers, Boatswains, Pilots for the helm, Gunner, Carpenter, Navigator, Buccaneers, Raiders, Master n Arms, Sharks, Cooks, Surgeons, Deckhands, On-land Associates, and wanderers. This is not the correct order of the hierarchy, but you do understand." Magistrate of Western Koriv explained to the room full of Gantronese Higher Ranks.

"All I understand Magistrate is that I was not referring to you. Now leave this room unless you like to explain how 200 mutineers managed to leave the harbor." Shogun Gao Innukai said as his way to shut the Magistrate up who left the room.

"Aided by now less that 169 drugged students under the leadership of two trouble makers." A Daimyo added.

"Traitors the lot of them!" one of Koriv's young princes scoffed. He sat next to the main rulers of Koriv that was starting to divide into West and East. High Sultan Demir Can-Gabral , Elder Yogunay Gokmen, and Queen of Purity, Princess of Fecuvia, Sultan's Wife Denuu the Fecuvian Finch represented the Korivan-Fecuvian Sultanate.

"Calm yourself my son. They will be dealt with and executed." Demir said in a calm deep voice.

"How do we know Magistrate Agradier will remain loyal to Koriv and show his allegiance to our new allies?" The Prince protested gesturing at the the Gantronese in the room. The highest ranking Gantronese was Shogun Gao Innukai who somewhat resembled an upright humanoid octopus without the strange head.

Flanking the Shogun were two Shogun Generals Unnagi, and Gyun Ta Gashin. There was one Divine Admiral Zeetago Aigerul, four Daimyo in the room as well. Their names were not given as the Gantronese expressed to be short on time.

"If any of your subjects refuse our proposal for peace in their lands then you must lead them back. No ruler should reign with an ally such as us and have unruly subjects among their flocks, and herds of people." Gao went on appealing to the rulers of this Sultanate that was on the verge of civil war.

None of the other Gantronese higher ranks present spoke a single word. In the room on the side of the Shogun, and Daimyos were Shogun Generals with the octopus looking medals showing their success and great deeds. One Divine Admiral Marshall who had decorative sleeves for each limb, and a cutlass bearing tentacle style hilt, and guard. The Daimyos each came with two General Daimyo's in what appeared to be traditional square linked armor mixed with a fine robe. Each armed with the long-curved sword known as a katana, or a detached claw. It's name represented a deity or great one's claw falling off and picked up by a Gantronese as a weapon. As for the rest of the Gantronese ranks a Grand General was present in his finest uniform lied with pins, and rings of nobles or kings he brought down in the name of the Gantronese. Generals, a High Colonel in the most modernized version of Gantronese uniform and several Colonels wearing caps that had the Gantronese symbol, a tentacle looking creature with the oval head and numerous tentacles. He sat in his chair quietly behind his uncle, the Sultan. Al-Beevun Karklith had Korivan blood, and a bit of Meze-Zegrav noble in him, which explained his darker skin, and name.

"I overheard a single Wizard is leading a force of 2,030 Uxane warriors, prowlers, blow gunners, archers, riflemen, club-man, trackers, scouts, and those cat riders. He also some 185 winged warriors from another part of this world, 2,200 rebels from various states, and thousands of other warriors who rallied to his cause. His forces have harassed Gantronese troops all over certain regions. Is this true? " He curiously revealed and asked the Gantronese in the room who remained calm. Karklith could still tell their expressions could not hide the anger within.

"Al-Beevun no, do not mock these Gantronese guests, they are allies!" a Mentor of the Prince warned him.

"I am merely asking Mentor, not mocking." Karlith replied to the bearded Mentor with the robes of knowledge, and the beads of wisdom around his neck.

"Excuse me are you a member of this family?" Gao asked politely. His skin did not have the pleasing texture peoples of this world had. It was light grayish with what appeared like scars all over it. No nose, and large eyes a ghost would have.

"No he is not, Al-Beevun leave us!" Sultan Can-Gabral demanded of the ward-son of his.

"Will Koriv remain an independent kingdom from this Grand Empire of the Gantronese." he asked getting up from his seat.

"That remains to be seen, however it could be a vassal our armies can protect from its own enemies." the Gantronese answered.

Al-Beevun tipped over his goblet over the table and exited the room. Wrapping his face with his shawl-poncho known as a Scarti, one many Koriv garments worn by all, the Ward made his way out of the Palace Of Foreign Affairs. Keeping his own face and body covered in an ugly colored Scarti that also acted as a cloak he reached the base of the Palace. Followed by his personal guard the Ward came to the shadows of a bridge of the city that linked it to the Palace grounds. There he met 40 of his own personal Uxane gunners who served him. With them was an old hermit looking man in a Korvatzi style straw hat, a cloak with a strange pattern, worn out travel boots. He held a long walking stick, and had company as well. Accompanying this old man a pair of female Holy Warriors in religious garb, and armed with sword and shield. Whoever this old man was he was a little too happy to have these women around. His hands kept touching them in appropriate places. Behind them were other fighters who accompanied them thirteen cloaked serpent knights bearing the green serpent dragon medallions around their necks.

"I am looking for the Wizard known as Kharli Kharchu the Nomadic Muskallan Sorcerer." Al-Beevun informed the old crazed hermit who was pocking at one of the female's buttocks.

"He no longer goes by that name, but is widely known as Mustang-Vulture who roams the continents of Aleon, Jurnis, Ottante, and the islands of the southern oceans." the hermit told the Koriv Ward just before he dove a hand inside the leggings of one of the women. Al-Beevun snatched his hand out of there so the hermit could take this meeting more seriously.

"Where can I find him then?" Al-Beevun demanded with a firm grip on the old man's wrist. it felt aged and bony yet strong from experience in life.

"You will have to find a rogue-ranger from the Vestrisian continent. A handsome stranger is what he is and well known as Dapper Prince." the hermit laughed at this with a wide grin on his old face.

"Where can I find this Dapper Prince then?" Al-Beevun requested eager to find new allies for his resistance against future Gantronese rule.

"He mysteriously leaves without a trace. Only to return the next night." crazy old man about some handsome stranger who works for Mustang Vulture.

"Will he at least help with the Gantronese invaders?" Al-Beevun asked.

"Probably, go to Eoth, Grussia, and Vunnace. You see the Mulzaneen have already sided with the Gantronese Invaders."

Intervention Failure 1147

"You know why you are here." Supreme Executive of Court Marshals said.

"Yes your honor, I understand why I am here today for this hearing." a female Dauksan with long fox like ears, and busy orange tail.

"Do you understand this is Intervention # 1147, a failure like Intervention 1137?" the large Blue Oni Supreme Executive questioned her.

"Yes I do as Vice Field Marshall, I Ingredia Kantix Evenwires understand this failure is mine alone. None of the men and women-" she was cut off by Supreme Executive Garbadd Zeevud.

"More than nine hundred thousand men and women of this organization gave their lives on that planet! Were you not tasked with pushing the invading Nazdar back while building a foothold?" He kept the questions coming.

"Yes your honor I was, but that was only half the force I was supposed to command! With all do respect to the courts and the military forces of the Inner Galactic Alliance there should have been half a million under my command." she insisted to the members of the courts at her hearing.

"Let's see it was Chief Marshall Niervad not Chief Marshall Lancaster who gave you those forces. Am I correct on that?" He looked at her over his spectacles that hung from his nose.

"Yes however the precise number was two hundred thirty two thousand one hundred sixty two infantry launching an invasion of an area known as Kashmanol." Supreme Executive Zeevud reminded her.

"Yes your honor, 101, 164 attacked Kashmanol from the north, and 130, 998 launched the other phase of my invasion from the southern coasts of Kashmanol. My forces managed to overrun the enemy who stationed 161, 900 troops as an occupation force with collaborators. Casualties showed 1,045,328 killed, forcing the rest to flee, retreat and break from rest of the occupation forces. Seven islands  were taken in the process. That is when we found out 101, 823 Orcs of Kashmanol were taken prisoner and locked away while the rest turned into slave labor." She was about to continue, but the figure next to Zeevud waved a hand for her to be silent.

"For a span of a full year, 365 days your forces invaded Kashmanol, defeated the enemy occupation forces, destroyed their collaborators, forced them to retreat, and break away. Then your troops are attacked every where during that full year they were there. Yet you seemed to claim a victory?" The figure next to Zeevud spoke for him as he went through papers, and rubbed his head.

"Many of them managed to survive, at least a corps of them survived, held their ground, and made it through!" Evenwires stated hoping that would make a good defense for her failure. She did not stay with the main forces on the mainland, but resided on an island. Ingredia did not mention the 88 clones who survived and reached her quarters, which explained why she even survived this.

"According to some of the wounded officers they begged you to call for reinforcements after 5,525,747 strange aliens, allied with the enemy, emerged from the underground once Kashmanol was yours. In a territory known as Vaony 10, 325 screw ups among your invasion force drop their weapons allowing themselves to be captured. That alone left all your forces vulnerable and exposed." Zeevud stood up and spoke in a voice of authority that made her feel like a child in trouble.

Kantix kept thinking of those 88 clones who managed to survive and protect her. Her thoughts also went to the 34 troopers who happened to be native born to this planet called Calorn. Each one was abducted and then adopted into a new family entering a new life. Once the 365 days were up those natives deserted the rest. Her gaze went to Supreme Executive Zeevud then at Chief Judge Aigotha Brons a female Biit-Omelano with the pale orange skin, Cyan hair in Sleek Pixie style. Then some thought hit her. Two mountain kingdoms along the borders of the Kashmanol, and the land locked sea-lake bordering the local states of Derol, Lornav, Dormany, and the large area of Ehkbullar. Both kingdoms allowed her troops to reside there before the invasion. Surely some native's aid would direct the hearing in her favor.

"Your honors the two mountain kingdoms who allowed my troops housing are worth our time. They have become valuable allies." Ingredia pointed out in the hopes they would see this as a positive feat for their cause. Gaining an alliance with any locals gave a commanding officer or soldier a bonus that could erase charges.

"Both kingdoms are part of the super continent known as Nevora. We do recognize them as allies, however their contribution to this intervention are their's not yours, Vice Field Marshall. Perhaps Estelhun should have been handed this Intervention mission after his own forces engaged mounted enemy cavalry there." Brons revealed to the Vice Field Marshall like a warning. "He would have not lost so much as ten thousand in the first hours like you did. We still applaud your strategies and tactics that overwhelmed the large garrisons, which only resulted in 10, 004 of our own killed in action. Those were shot by the Nazdar and their Grevaskii."

"He led well over thirty thousand to their deaths!-" she tried to profess, but was cut off by Zeevud.

"That Dragon Prince Warlord would have never allowed more than fifty thousand of his troops die like you did. If they did die it would be to the death and holding their ground! Whereas you spent a full year's worth there luxuriously lounging about on that island!" Zeevud roared the assertion at her.

"Aside from 10, 004 KIA on the first few days of the invasion according to our reports, which are not your fault, 3, 282 of our soldiers are eaten right there on the battlefield during this Intervention 1147. What you have to say to their people? Eighteen humanoid races made up that Intervention Corps you commanded." Zeevud proceeded with his part of the hearing.

"They all have my deepest condolences, family, clans, nations, and peoples of their worlds." She was about to cry, but fought the tears back. How was she supposed to know about those monsters? Ingredia was certain she had all the information from the reconnaissance squadrons sent out ahead of the invasion. Yet the Intervention still went south and Kashmanol fell the enemy.

"To add to the immediate list of casualties during the first days of the invasions." Zeevud noted while going through the papers.

You mean add more salt to the wounds already there? She screamed inside her head while the Executive went through the paper work before him. Ingredia recalled the horrors her forces faced in Kashmanol. Just watching them on a screen made her shudder. Even recalling the nightmares made her feel petrified inside. Her heart beats went up like someone had just scared her.

"In every intervention there are the usual KIA, and wounded casualties plus the MIA(missing in action). What is not common are the number of rapes that occurred among our own or the enemy. As for our wounded twenty-two thousand eight hundred seventy six men and women are wounded. Each one had to be evacuated off world asap. Total number of women raped in combat throughout the Intervention totaled 2,009 who were forced to leave the combat zones and this world due to trauma and physical harm. This also leads to the ones who suffered what is called "Shell Shock" and Combat Traumatic Disorder" showing a number of 3,290 soldiers we had to let go and evacuate." Zeevud continued on with the hearing.

"That... that was the most horrifying thing I have heard of and witnessed myself. One of my own staff officers were forced on a table at this inn! For those who suffered the disorders I pray for their.... recovery!" Ingredia dropped to her knees letting the tears come down and sobbed.

"That caused a brigade's worth of women to break away to form their own faction after their demands for transfers your staff denied! Did you deny those transfers?" Zeevud pressed on with the questions and the numbers that laid on her hands.

"STOP YOUR HONOR LET ME GRIEF!" she screamed causing two Guardians acting as security to grab her by the arms to apprehend her for the outburst.

"We will allow to grieve once this hearing is over! Am I understood?" Zeevud pointed a thick meaty finger at her that had a long nail that protruded out.

"How many of those female soldiers left us? A force of 2,195 female soldiers broke away to form their own faction due to the rapes and the denied transfers that may not be on your hands. Grand Admiral Finstar who took charge of the transfers if it was not the Vice-Admiral?" Zeevud asked a decorated seasoned Hakutakuun holding the rank of Grand Admiral.

"I believe it was under the jurisdiction of Commandant of Air Avalon Badoinson an Uidhil who only respects Naval and Airforce troops." the Hakutakuun with his four horns and reddish beard answered the Executive.

"We will hear from him soon enough in this court room. Now Vice Field Marshall Evenwires you booted and punished soldiers for insubordination. Discipline is key to victory and holding the line. For that you will keep your rank as you are strict with the ways of military procedures. However due to the main failure your fate is determined based on the weight against you. We have a record and list of 1, 209 soldiers of your Intervention Corps whom you booted out for insubordination and failure to follow direct orders. I am certain that will direct the rest of the interventions to a better success through example in the future. Lamia, Oni, Biits, Hellhound race, Omelano, Demonicoids, Seraphim Protectors, Hakutakuuns, Holstaurus homesteads, and all Vurids would like to see their loved ones avenged and honored. Each of those races including those of Elves, Dwarves, Dauksans your own people, Cruks, Uidlhli, other humans, and the cycloptic race do appreciate you for disciplining those insubordinate members. Yet all eighteen races, members of this Inner Galactic Coalition demand an explanation for the rest of the casualties and losses. Particularly those who went missing in action. No more than 1,176 members of Intervention 1147 became lost, and presumed missing or dead were recently found on scanners all over Kashmanol, Vaony, in places called Kyria, Lornav, and parts of Nevora. Also 1,061 froze to death in this Nevoran region. How your scanners did not pick them up is beyond me and your superiors." Zeevud raised his voice with anger.

"They will not be forgotten their memories will live on." Evenwires said showing as much sympathy as possible wiping the tears away. She regrouped and gathered herself recalling the army of strange alien invaders who joined the Nazdar and Grevaskii.

"Your honors the enemy had a force of 852, 404 strange invaders stationed in Kashmanol. My Intervention forces crushed them forcing 379, 167 of them to retreat." Evenwires recalled in a mournful tone.

"A victory no one will forget however it is unfortunate your forces did not get all of them. Did those forces retreat to Vaony?" Zeevud did agree with her on that, but added a question after that.

"I do not know your honor it was months after we landed those force disappeared when defeated. That is when the chaotic surprise began all over Kashmanol. Soldiers, Troopers, and Infantry were hung to death, killed with arrows, slaughtered, killed with claws, thrown over a bridge, burned alive, poisoned, lost their marbles, and showed cowardice in the face of the enemy!" Evenwires went on with the ways her forces died and lost it. "1, 608 men and women died from disease that were foreign to us! Don't blame me for the deaths of the diseased, my medics had no cure for that!"

"Those who died of disease will not be blamed on you nor will the deaths of the 7, 621 discovered dead from an accident, or lightning. As for the ones who died from traps we need your own surviving scouts to explain that!" Zeevud almost shouted at everyone in the room.

"Among those who died during the chaotic surprise we have here 5,138 found hung to death, 2, 746 killed with arrows? Did the locals, never mind, 15, 659 found stabbed, cut to death and bludgeoned all across Kashmanol. As for the ones killed with claws 2, 329 dead from attacks by either beasts or monsters, we cannot decipher without autopsies. As for the unfortunate souls who died via bridges, and burned alive, 2, 233 burned by the enemy, and 742 were thrown over bridges by these strange aliens. Either those souls were caught off guard, captured or your pride in the victory gave way to letting your guard down!" Zeevud looked at her with fire in his eyes.

"When these strange aliens numbering five million or more came out were you not informed enough by the locals?" Zeevud demanded from Evenwires.

"The, the local Orcs, Goblins, a-and hybrids did not say anything to my soldiers. I believed the enemy did not have any more forces in the area. By the time we discovered more forces present under ground it was too late." Evenwires admitted bowing her head low in shame, regret, and guilt.

"That prideful attitude you had led to the poisoning of 20,110 I.G.C.A. members, the finest we had. All the tragic deaths within the chaotic surprise by the enemy caused 1, 916 of your own to lose their marbles who proceeded to massacre Orclings. Orclings, just Orc children. Did you deal with those murderers among your army who held a racial grudge against Orcs?" Zeevud went on, demanding an answer.

"We had them taken in or killed on the spot." She said crying for those Orcling children whose screams and cries she can still hear when her troops opened fire on them and started gutting them. More tears streamed down her cheeks for those children who would never live to become a great Warrior like their forefathers or become members of society their Clans would be proud of.

"For those who showed cowardice you executed 4, 432 infantry whom you pulled from another Intervention force located on a world full of the living dead! Those soldiers should have been treated before this Intervention!" Zeevud growled at her showing a mix of anger, agony, and grief.

"My own nephew was one of those you executed. Moving on." Zeevud put that in as something personal. That bit of information hit her very hard.

"During the 365 days you were there two thousand of your troops broke away to become outlaws. I pray those 1,501 who became pirates, and 500 bandits, and renegades gave those five million enemies a good chase all over that region while engaging in guerrilla warfare. Fortunately for you a spy of ours discovered those men and women did not die without a fight. Did you shout the orders for your own forces to "Take them with you" ?" Zeevud looked at her with a concerned look then glanced at the list he held in his hand.

"Yes it was to encourage them and to keep them from losing hope. I contacted Niervad and Lancaster, and Grand Admiral Finstar to send reinforcements or carpet bomb the whole region." Evenwire explained to the Executive.

"About forty thousand did hold their ground, 25, 417 of your soldiers held their ground along the southern coast, 12, 435 left this planet after fighting to get out. We have here a memoir turned report from Sergeant Eskill Gargos the Lamia who recalls your orders to hold ground or pull back." Zeevud raised up the words so she could see them.

"Yes I did not hesitate to give out those orders out of sheer desperation, and panic. I was lost after 60,283 of my troops were captured or forced to surrender when they go overwhelmed. Their positions were being overrun I had to command those orders." Evenwires claimed the orders as her own.

"Many of those soldiers made it out alive plus joined this Iznar Pact, which 10,065 of your other soldiers stationed on one of the larger islands to the south forged. It seems more than 166, 781 of our guns with ammunition were given to the Drasdal States Resistance Movements."

"A gift to the Drasdals if they managed to free captured I.G.C. soldiers." Evenwire proclaimed before the Executive.

"What was this world called again?" Zeevud asked around the room.

"Calorn your Honor, the natives call it Calorn. While I was on the seventh island we seized I saw a team of four strange invaders not affiliated with the invaders nor us engage the invasion force."

"Describe them, Vice Field Marshall, I am only granting your self to keep this rank as a reminder of this failure. Now proceed." Zeevud folded his hands in a listening motion letting Evenwire have the floor. "However, before I let you out of this court room you will remain here at home for two years of no military action. Once those two years are up then you are allowed to return to serve the galaxy on this Calorn recruiting and gathering mercenary armies, volunteers, renegades, fighters, and smugglers to forge your new army under the command of a local government there." Zeevud put in.

"These four invaders were heavily armored with technology no different than our own, but weapons strong enough to punch through our armor......."

Her Enchanted Family

In the field she made her way up to the shrine of a Crusader she heard about. Outside the coastal city of  Vanilla Kalmira rested the shrine to Crusader Pallantas Iron-Fists. It is said he fought with his hands over weapons. Unelle Vixis the Black Mage had a crush on this Crusader until she learned he was long deceased. As a Black Mage she used dolls for melee combat and dark arcane powers except for the illegal kind and necromancy. Necromancy makes her cringe and squirm at the mere mention of it. For some reason she used a total of fifty two dolls and mini fiends to help her in combat. Dolls include Tonberries, Dragons, Bears, stuffed lizards, Dwarf Doll with a flip blade, Owl, Roc, Coeurl Tiger, Haizhe, Swamp Turtle, a Llama, a knight-warrior, effigy, Demon, Fox, a snake, Eagle, Monkey, Armadillo, Pangolin, Ox for travelling, and a little ghost for spying. The rest of her dolls, which she called fiends held the appearances of mythical creatures each with their own purpose. All fifty two of them served Unelle's needs, protection, such as travelling, combat, spying, information, and often entertainment. She carried the smaller ones in a bag carrier for a pet animal.

She brought only fourteen at a time. As a Black Mage she was selective at times. Yet at home she would use all of them at once to help around the massive tower she took care of. She lived in a Lodge with nine other supernatural users. As an arcane family they lived on a motte and bailey owned by an aging Wizenmon, a Court Wizard who is a wise mentor.  Unelle used Black Mage Doll powers, her other family members delved in sorcery, wizardry, enchantment, Occultism, incantations, conjurations, Druid-Wiccan, and White Magic. Gazing up at the statue within the shrine Unelle thought of each one when a Dark Bush Cat jumped on the base of the shrine. It looked at her with its large green eyes and meowed at her. Four of her dolls panicked and ran away fearing its claws. Unelle laughed urging the dolls to return to her side. One of them started to when the cat poised to pounce on it. She did not appreciate the way the cat was going to treat a doll like its prey. From the left came a white ferret, a fox, a monkey, a mink, mongoose, a spotted cat, Ocelot, and a strange looking fur covered dragon chased each other around. This made her laugh as it scared the cat into leaping away from the statue. She kept laughing as she watched the animals race around her and the statue. It lasted for a few moments until she heard steeds approach her.

Unelle turned around to see a company of 97 figures. The company itself was made up of 12 Dragon Knights, Soldiers, 10 Lion troops, Knights, 4 Bull Warriors, 6 prowlers, archers, spear-men, ax-men, 21 elf warriors, and assassins, 24 pirates, soldiers, and Spaniards, 13 tribesmen, and 7 skull knights. She assumed they were either passing through or here to pay homage to the Crusader Pallantas Iron-fists' statue shrine. Each animal that chased one another were called back to its owner or master within the company. She studied them seeing other animal companions such as wolves, dogs, falcons, parrots, and owls perched on their shoulders. Looking up at their leader who was a Baron bearing a Lion's Sigil upon his breast plate, which was painted over with a monster's claw print. Doing more accurate counting she could tell there were far more than a hundred mounted members of this company. Something about this mix of figures gave her chills and goosebumps. Nothing seemed right or safe about these men who seemed to stop and gaze at her. Unelle called her dolls back to her who jumped in the bag. Covering her self more with the cloak only made them laugh.

Feeling foolish she was about gain her bearings and ask why they were here. For some reason she imagined herself gaining new friends. These men were not so bad and joined her back to the motte and bailey where she introduced them to her family. Her day dreaming was interrupted by a bunch of brigand looking men and knights rushing out of their hiding places. It was an ambush against the company of men who had their own army behind them. Hundreds of brigands, robbers, and robber knights in black, red, or dark green charged at the company. Unelle prepared herself to use whatever spells she can muster in defense. A portal opened beside her in the purple-blue vortex that one Wizard is known for. Vakore the Yellow Meta leaped out of the portal in his usual gold robes, and tunic under neath that made him more like a monk. Wielding his staff with the swirl carvings Vakore sent a few fire balls at the combatants. A second Wizard came out of the portal wearing the finest clothing showing his love for high class, and noble status. Exirius Uxius the Suave is known for his illusion style sorcery mixed with some elemental magic, healing powers, and conjuration. Using his aristocratic cane he hit several other combatants before picking her up. Wasting no time the Wizards entered the portal.

She found herself in Exirius' arms smack dab in the middle of the courtyard of the tower.  The rest of her family encircled the trio. Onazahr the Adventurous Travelling Wizard bowed to her welcoming her home as Exerius put her down. Onazahr delved in the entertaining side of magic as a magician while using sorcery for defense with the help of a folded walking cane. He often traveled far and wide trying new tricks, and magical spells. A female conjurer pushed the travelling sorcerer aside in her green gown that represented the type of conjuring she performed. Hair styled in a bun, face covered in make up, and gown flowing, Celline Gantriss the Conjurer kissed Unelle on both cheeks as she embraced her back home. She had abilities to summon demons, elemental powers in the form of creatures of her choosing, and beings from other worlds or dimensions. For a staff and weapon she wields a halberd from a dead guard in some desert ruins. Agrad, and Maza Blaska the two Warlocks who were also a shaman, and medicine man were summoned over by the most powerful of the family, Vakore. Agrad commanded a force of thirty-five warriors who serve him. Whereas Maza Blaska rallied one hundred twenty braves, forest prowlers, renegades, riflemen, and trackers to his side. This added extra defenses and aid for those who get lost and needed to be found.

An Occultist who acted as a night watchman came towards the gathered family in his pajamas. He yawned offering to keep an extra eye on outer walls with the warriors. Wherever Unelle was earlier it was not far from this motte and bailey tower that was more of a small settlement built around the tower and keep. Because of his Occultist magic he chose to name himself Cxuldi using a Boar hunting Spear for a weapon. He was usually accompanied by an Enchantress named Astrdi Le Rouge who wore a colorful cloak and wielded a lover's crusader's banner as a weapon. Unelle appreciated each one who cared for her after what happened to her last year. Another magic user tried absorbing her own powers to join with his own, but was defeated in the middle of a forest battle between cults, guilds, and covens. They pressed for her to see their female Druid-Wiccan in her hut. Elwin Graves used Nature with Occultism powers. Her spells came from a book, and incantations. She often made potions for every occasion. Like Unelle she was caught in that arcane war in the forests of Ossus. Unelle sat down holding on to her forehead as it circled with bad memories of that war. Entire covens, guilds, and cults disappeared, died, disbanded or went into hiding after it was all over. She took a drink of a herbal mixture that she dosed with some soothing spell. Feeling its effects Unelle retired for the rest of the day putting all her dolls back in the shelves to sleep. It was not until the very next day did they learn there was a turf war igniting across the highways, and roads. For her enchanted family that was too close to home.

Over the Treasures of Naboo

Roaming through the forest he did not expect anyone to be on this path. The wind picked up making him clutch his wooden walking staff and travel cloak. Underneath his travel cloak he wore layers of clothing for this part of the journey. Under his cloak he wore a duster coat, a poncho, a space vest over a Shaak farmer disguise. He knew the mountains of Naboo would be cold so he thought it would be better to layer up over freezing his companions to death. Along the path they came across AAT's, Trade Federation Droids littering the ground. It was no surprise these were left there since the Battle For Naboo. No one really came up here. Rumors of a Smuggler's Base with riches spread like wild fire. He found the remains and Wreckage of the famous Captain Kael who died at the hands of Borvo the Hutt's minions while fighting to free his people. In these mountains were plenty of Trade Federation bases left there and ruins.

They passed a Trade Federation MTT when a shady individual stepped out from behind a crashed vulture droid. Whoever it was they were armed with a staff weapon the dreaded and feared bodyguards of Grievous used during the Clone Wars that had just ended two years ago. This figure was not alone as other figures appeared, thugs, and droids came to block their path. Not taking any chances he ignited his light-saber. Next to him was a Clone Trooper still in his armor, an IG-88 Assassin Droid they managed to hack for their own purposes, a Bothan, a Twi'lek mechanic/pilot and a Dug Droid Specialist/Pilot. Behind them was their trio of Gungan Guide, Warrior, and Guardians with the Kaadu Mounts he chose to use hoping to avoid Imperial eyes. His other companions were armed with the typical blasters whereas the Gungans wielded electropoles, staffs, gaffi sticks, and a light-saber staff.

Looking down at his white light-saber the former Jedi wanted nothing to do with any side of any conflict. In his mind he hoped these were not bounty hunters sent by the Empire hunting for Jedi. He also prayed to the Force these were not lead by an Inquisitor either. As a Treasure Hunter all he wanted was to find something valuable and anything that sells then move on to the next target. Whoever these figures were they were either rival Treasure Hunters, Thugs, or Pirates.

Last Ditch Defense for Kashmanol part 2

Just four hundred eighty thousand invaders remained on this battlefield. Still a massive force to fight despite all that carnage, backstabbing, traps, arrows, volleys, and fierce fighting. It appeared the enemy feared sending any more forces after threats to their flanks. To the dismay of the defenders another force of invaders positioned themselves behind the attacking force. For the sake of the day turning dusk to dark both sides ceased fighting. Defending this position for this many days against that kind of force was nothing short of a miracle. Teniim Elves set out as an expedition, engaged Gnolls, Troglodytes, and goblin minions of a warlord who supported their destruction. That expedition dragged them into a war over Kashmanol.

Their morning was peaceful making it uneasy for the defenders who expected another assault. Some time after their morning meals the invader added insult before their eyes. All the female warriors and defenders who were captured got dragged up the hill of carnage. Toros recognized many of the faces of the captors including. Gorn Dura Freehands lay on her back with an ugly looking spawn mutation mounting her. All these captors were ravaged before the eyes of the defenders. Seeing their own comrades in arms be treated like this was demoralizing for the already battered defenders. Among the invaders were thousands of female warriors who were triggered by this event.

Bewilderment, Awestruck, Shock, Puzzled, open-mouthed, bafflement were all that described the feelings of the defenders. Well over ten thousand female warriors gutted the assailants, and cut their way out of the horde. Most of the invaders jumped out of their way as they stormed over to the patch of woods where nearly thirty-thousand female slaves, servants, and breeders had been placed. A scapegoat was placed on the defenders who raised their weapons. Three hundred thousand invaders descended upon their position. Toros and his fellow Teniim Elves fought to survive this time next to the Dark Elves who switched sides on the invader. Cutting down enemies began easy enough until those with skills and armor came up. Ignoring the females and oblivious to their surroundings the invaders pressed the attack. As Toros killed dozens more he spotted a large cavalry heading this way. So this invader has finally brought in cavalry to run us down? He had wondered when the enemy cavalry would show up. Beheading a scrawny spawn and jabbing a large pig-Orc in the throat the Elf Elite saw this cavalry charge after the invaders. He ripped his sword from the enemy's throat and proceeded to kill more urging the enemy keep focusing on them.

Above the heads of those who pressed the assault he calculated approximately thirty five thousand and nine hundred or more mounted warriors armed with lances, spears, halberds, staff weapons, swords, axes, maces, flails, and tridents. Who ever this cavalry of mounted warriors bulldozed through the invader's ranks at the same as other groups arrived. On the right an army of Elves armed with rifles, and bows opened fire from the north eastern flanks. Using volley fire by rows Teniim Elves came to the rescue. From the southern flank came an army with superior fire power. Eight mechanized vehicles came with rapid firing guns that ripped the invaders apart. Among these vehicles a smaller unit of two hundred seventy seven armed troopers joined the vehicles. Superior firearms slaughtered the invaders at the front forcing the rest to flee into the mounted warriors. Toros saw a force of 3,000 Elf rifles with 7,500 spears and swords march to their rescue under the command of  Master of the Army "Anitta" Farryn Thegella. At her side were Master Vamir Greygann of rifles, and Brigadier Onthalas Gilrona. On Thegalla's side like a pup was Chief of the Line Bonaluria Bihorn who appeared displeased over ranks on her face.

Toros witnessed the rest of the invaders route to the west where they have come. He dropped his weapon and collapsed to his knees. Out of the one hundred thousand defenders who fought here 536 Teniim Elves, and 657 Dark Elves still stood. Not caring about where he was or who watched he let out a roar of relief at the skies. Others joined him with cheers from those who rescued them. Just the leaders and commanders remained silent. When he was finished the Elf started to cry tears of agony and grief. He crawled over to where he saw Gorn Dura Freehands yelling her name. Desperate to find his Orc companion Toros pulled bodies off each other and shoved them over the side with all his might. From he witnessed the rest of the invaders be chased down by the cavalry that arrived. Fifteen flying craft zoomed above them dropping explosives down on any suspecting enemies beyond their view.

Dura's face was unveiled underneath a fallen mutant. She coughed in air as she had been smothered and chocked by the pile up. Receiving help Toros managed to pull the Orc out of the pile up along with other wounded defenders. The wounded combatants began showing signs of life. Arms rose up, voices were raised along with groans, and sounds of pain. Dura was placed on a stretcher and carried away. Now under the command of Thegella Toros and the rest of the defenders set out to find the wounded and other survivors. While they did so not a single enemy was to be given mercy or taken prisoner. After what happened to Dura and other female warriors no one was taking prisoners. To ensure their own kind would not be killed the Dark Elves wrapped a piece of fabric around their left arm. Through begging, negotiation and offered servitude the Dark Elf leaders Sword Overseer Bomzy Ghoribis, Glaive- Pesirho Mezigod managed to save the fates of their own wounded. Both groups searched the carnage was the last of the invaders fled from the field. Whoever the thirty thousand riders were no one really knew except they were considered angelic saviors from the heavens. According to one of the rebels they were under the leadership of a young Prince Warlord who held the title of "Dragon" and went by many names including Blade-Reaper. One of the riders checked on them before rejoining his own.

Thegella rode down the hill using the longer rout to avoid trampling over wounded. While they searched for survivors she went rode up to the seventeen thousand female warriors who broke away and defended what looked to be over thirty six thousand slaves. Pulling up bodies they found more wounded and finished any enemies who still breathed. As for the Dark Elf they went from enemy to ally in a flash. Toros kept looking over at the thirty thousand saviors riding around cutting down and trampling the fleeing enemy. A strange horn was blown by the leader called Blade-Reaper who rallied them to him ending the pursuit. This Prince Warlord pointed towards the south as he spoke with his commanders. The Elf's gaze turned to the south spying a large force of one hundred thousand mounted invaders. Everyone who was watching expected the dozen flying craft to send that horde running scared. What they did not expect was for those fifteen flying craft to land in a clear field behind the hills.

Disappointed in those allies the Elves returned to gathering up the wounded. Whenever one was found a stretcher was brought over and carried them away. Curious Toros turned around to find a field hospital being erected to house the wounded. Nearly two thousand tents were pitched and set up for the wounded. An army of at least five thousand and more nurses and field surgeons arrived with Thegella. Toros and his fellow defenders had to carry the last several hundred wounded over to the field hospital that was constructed. His expedition had 1, 645 wounded, the Dark Elves had 987 wounded plus 441 more found alive in the carnage. For their Orc allies 3,428 were carried over to the tents. After setting the final wounded defender on a bed in the tent Toros and those who still stood saw to their own camps. To him it was a miracle most tents remained intact. Fighting grief, and tears of anger his fellow Teniim Elves gathered what they could and made a few fires. Thegella returned to their camps with every female warrior who left the invaders behind her. Behind them marched some thirty six thousand six hundred three former slaves, servants, and forced breeders. Toros and his fellow warriors watched seventeen thousand and counting march past them with twice the number of free slaves.

Toros bowed his head low hoping none of them recognized him as one of many defenders who killed their colleagues and sword sisters. He waited until the whole lot of them passed by when a lone figure walked past. Looking up he spotted a female elf in a cloak with the healer's symbol. She took a seat on a barrel with her gaze set on the thirty-thousand riders. Toros did not hesitate to watch their mounted saviors prepare to charge this larger wave of cavalry. Regardless of numbers the Warlord with the titles of Dragon and Princes gave the rallying cry and mustered his entire force to follow him. After riding up and down the ranks he took his position and began the charge. Whoever the woman was she wiped away tears as she watched the cavalry clash. Both forces collided close to where the flying craft bombed the area. No one could tell what happened at the cavalry engagement. Mounted warriors cut each other down that is all they could tell from their position. This Prince and his army fought against the larger horde well into the night. Whoever was close could barely hear the battle and its outcome. By the time morning came everyone awoke to see a small encampment made nearby. Toros and four other Elites who survived were ordered to check the camp out.

With four other Teniim Elites Toros went up to the camp of eight battered warriors, knights, and riders who flew Dragon and Skull Banners. Sitting around a fire were the warriors of that Warlord Prince and Dragon Reaper who donned fine looking robes to keep warm. All eight greeted the Elves offering them food, coffee, tea and a place by the fire. Trying to stay professional Toros mentioned the Master of the Army Thegella who sent him here. Prince Warlord Reaper looked perplexed and take aback. The young leader was hoping they had come on their own because of their survival in the previous battle. Toros could not help but ask him who are you. As a Prince Warlord with the title of Dragon the young leader introduced himself as Estelhun Maximilian. He was that Warlord who lead the thirty six thousand cavalry against one hundred twenty five thousand four hundred seventy four mutants, monsters, and local brigands who sided with the invaders. For him to have only seven left meant they must leave now.

Dragon Prince Warlord Estelhun Maximilian waved off Thegella's demands and offers to meet. He told Toros to inform her there is a larger army beyond that field and they are held back by thirty thousand animal humanoids. Taking his word Toros beckoned the rest of this group to follow him back. On their return to their own camps on the hill they discovered five thousand and thirty six wagons arrived to pick up the wounded. It would be another day before they can be moved.

Last Ditch Defense For Kashmanol Part 1

Revealing their true colors against the invaders and those who supported them made a difference. It appeared that did not last for more than several months in the western half of Kashmanol. Rumors of this larger horde of invaders and collaborators being the vanguard assault from the other Orc forces. Teniim Elves and the Orc forces that joined them were puzzled by receiving no word nor seeing any movements towards them from the nine thousand enemies. Two full days passed before anything else happened. Montis sat with his fellow elites and some Orcs who joined them. In a semi-circle smoking Vision Milkweed mixed with Wild Pokeweed, and crushed Mammoth Road Weed. Doing the math and calculations inside his own head Toros believed the Kashmanol Orcs still have some fifty-thousand and counting. Fourteen thousand five hundred fifty four Orcs prepared to engaged the twelve thousand enemies. The one thousand one hundred eighty seven Orcs joined their forces. Toros felt a little unease encroach inside him.

Nine thousand enemies hugged the patch of woods closely while their own brethren fought the Orcs nearly a mile away. To both sides it was a spectacle, an exciting event to watch. Toros watched as he smoked his pipe with his colleagues. No one cared what day it was, what week, month or the season. All they cared about was defeating this horde, or stalling it from reaching the Teniim Kingdoms. For the Orcs it may turn into a war to preserve the remaining parts of Kashmanol that breathed free air. Toros did not want to know the true intentions of these invaders as it was obvious to many. They wanted to conquer these lands. That much was clear to the Orcs of Kashmanol, and the Elves of Teniim.

Toros puffed on the weed mixture with his gaze transfixed on the battle in the distance. In his head he prayed to the Goddess of Good Fortune the Orcs would be granted a victory. It appeared to be a one sided battle since the Orcs outnumbered the twelve thousand invaders. His attention on the battle was ripped away by a full brigade of nine thousand Orcs charged past him like a stampede. Their intentions were to crush, scare and route the nine thousand invaders hugging the woods. Armed with Axes, Maces, war-hammers, Spears, Halberds, Long Cleavers, Curved Blades, swords, various Clubs, and long bows which they stopped to notch. Although many had a bow just a few hundred loosed an arrow into the enemy ranks who were just now stirring. Toros sat him with his eyes widened at a clever move on the Orcs. A volley of arrows devastated the enemy leaving them shocked and scatter brained. One large brigade of Orcs raced down the hill to kill the rest of the enemy at the woods. They had to spread out to avoid flanking maneuvers as they rushed into the campsites. Ill prepared to face the oncoming brigade of Orcs the same sized force of invaders fell like flies. Not a single invader stood a chance against the well armored, and armed Orcs who did not see what Toros saw. At the last second the enemy had a surprise up their sleeves despite the massacre at the woods.

From the woods, brush, and tall grass a force of 39, 207 invaders and more emerged. Those who watched scrambled for their bows, and guns. Every Orc at the woods threw themselves at the revealed enemy. Having  an enemy force three times larger than their own the Orcs banded together in groups. Toros notched an arrow and loosed it in a volley of nearly two thousand arrows. Arrows showered the enemies wrapping around the Orcs on their left flank. He loosed another arrow alongside others who sent it to both flanking groups of invaders. It halted the enemy from flanking the Orcs. Many invaders could barely hold their own against these Kashmanol Orcs filling the defenders with hopes of victory. Forced to hold out in smaller groups caused casualties to mount among the Orcs who butchered the invading force of various humanoids and monsters. Toros and other bowmen loosed another volley into the woods and areas around the engagement. He could make out outlandish looking invaders with multiple arms, extra limbs, two or three heads, four legs, strange shaped heads, furry bodies, tall statures, stout bodies, long arms, big mouths, and wings. Two thousand more arrows were loosed into the woods and the field behind the battle. To Toros it seemed like a waste until he saw smaller groups propping up in the tall grass. Rather than putting pressure on the Orcs they backed away in retreat. He watched a hundred of them fall from the arrows that could reach them.

At the scene of the battle the Orcs began their retreat while fighting to the death. Bodies mounted at their feet as they moved back to the main force. For hours they fought ferociously to get out taking with them most of the enemy force. By mid dusk the larger Orc army in the distance had won their battle long before Coalition saw victory for the day. For the Orc Brigade barely three thousand made it out with their lives. Among the fifty thousand enemies that attacked them just two thousand six hundred fled from the battlefield. Toros' Commander sent them over to retrieve more survivors and the wounded. Orc Coalition War Chief Zarfu Ironfists ordered units of skirmishers to patrol the area and kill any straggling enemies. Going through the aftermath introduced the elves to more strange races and monsters that made up this invading horde. Some reptile looking races, mammal like beasts, horned monsters covered in hair, winged monsters, Octopus looking creatures, and strange uniformed figures with tentacles for arms. Sorting through the carnage Toros and his fellow Elves finished off some three thousand six hundred fort seven enemies. Among the carnage they managed to find one thousand three hundred thirty five Orcs still alive and wounded. No one left the wounded to die as it grew dark. On stretchers, steeds, mounts, and shields they carried the wounded to camp.

Toros was chosen to keep watch for the night shift with a score of others to warn the camps. All night his main focus was staying awake while keeping an eye out for enemy movements. Drinking his hot beverage of coffee that had to be grounded right there Toros glanced over at the large camp of Orcs to the south who appeared alert. Whenever he looked at the enemy's side of the land not a single light or fire was even lit. Speculations about this enemy being nocturnal or simply covert in their invasion rose up. His fellow Elites had a short debate over that despite the minimal knowledge of this newly discovered enemy. None of them doubted the enemy were hiding somewhere. At every corner, and every hour they expected the enemy to attack. What they did not expect, but should have were more Orcs returning to the front. A single Orc runner rushed up to report that a force of fifty-nine thousand seven hundred fifty nine. She raced back to her own forces in the hopes that he would inform his commander. Toros got up to inform his own commander who thanked him for the information. When he exited the Commander's tent he saw the fifty thousand Orcs setting up their own camps a few hundred feet away.

For the rest of the night he kept watch witnessing the first lights of dawn creep up. The elf also saw an entire corps of enemies heading towards them. It was right as every elf and Orc awoke as one of his fellow watchers sounded a horn to wake the entire encampment. Witnessing another fifty nine thousand and more invaders come in to attack them in the morning Toros notched the first arrow of the morning. He and several thousand others loosed arrows while the rest prepared to defend their positions, and skirmishers throw javelins into the enemy ranks. All the gunners moved into formation along with the melee units while archers loosed volleys of arrows. He loosed a third arrow when he spotted more Kashmanol defenders coming in from the south with another enemy force in pursuit. From this distance it was hard to tell the exact numbers and he had a battle to fight. His ears rank right after loosing a fourth arrow into the enemy. All of their gunners fired on the enemy laying waste to thousands more enemies. Orcs then hurled large rocks and stones at the enemy right after a fifth volley. Skirmishers raced around them in circles throwing spears and what looked like harpoons in volleys. As he notched a sixth arrow he saw a much larger force heading towards them. Such a massive force had not been seen here in a century.

Blasts from the guns drew his attention back to the advancing corps, which was now being attacked by the large force that arrive the previous night. That caught the advancing enemy off guard who were showered with arrows, rocks, stones, javelins, and musket balls. It was during the eighth volley the advancing enemy began to pull back in retreat. Arrows and bullets still went after them. As they got to the woods and large patches of brush large mouthed monster appeared in between foliage. One thing the defenders did not think possible were large monsters with gaping mouths eating the retreating enemy. Multiple retreating enemies appeared betrayed by this. Out of the thousands of retreating invaders three hundred sixty eight killed many of those large mouthed monsters. He counted more than one hundred forty six of those large mouthed monsters who ate just about anything with a pulse.

Toros notched his fifteenth arrow when he saw the few hundred invaders kill those beasts and rush northward. He lowered his bow watching them break away from the main force. Others noticed this as well when they raised white flags. It was difficult for them to avoid shooting them. During the most recent attack those three hundred sixty who broke away were the enemy. Both Commanders of the Coalition ordered for them to cease loosing arrows, and firing bullets. Toros looked over at the newly arrivals who beat back another force who lost well over ninety six percent of their forces. Corpses, weapons, limbs, and shields lay in heaps parallel with the fifty-nine thousand Orcs who returned. Past the larger force he spotted the Orcs and Goblins joining forces with the fourteen thousand Orcs who destroyed the pursuing enemy forces.  He wondered how many more invaders were left, and how large their forces were now. Considering their losses, and the forces who retreated and scattered warriors who stood their ground he estimated at least one hundred thousand. His gaze kept going for the three hundred sixty warriors who broke away from the invaders. Toros watched them raced towards some hills. As they approached the hills five large flying craft appeared in the skies. Everyone stopped what they were doing to witness craft from the stars land and pick up their former enemies. Toros watched one cat looking humanoid who appeared to be the leader. Whoever they were they turned to face them and waved. It appeared to have been planned and they must have been mistaken for someone else.

Another day passed with another victory and a delay in the invader's conquest of Kashmanol. Each camp was full of talk about those flying craft. Long after the morning meals the talk about those flying objects grew into a distraction from their main mission. Teniim Elves marched out with an expedition to check on the events in Kashmanol. For the Orcs of Kashmanol and their Goblin brother in arms it was to hold here and ware out the enemy invaders. To them it was obvious this invasion force had a limited number of warriors and fighters brought to this world. Around lunch time More Orcs and Goblins that pulled back then retreated came out of hiding. Approximately one thousand two hundred ninety six joined their forces. Behind them came stragglers numbering two thousand five hundred who were the last forces to make it out of the front lines. Everyone else who fought were either dead or captured by the enemy. Whether those captured defenders would remain prisoners, executed or turned into slaves they did not know. With the stragglers and the battalion of Orcs and Goblins came word of a larger invasion force of some three hundred thousand. Seeing there was no point to running away the battalion and stragglers joined the last defenders.

All through the night more stragglers came to reinforce the line. Just as more stragglers emerged at the camps so did hundreds of thousands of camp fires in the dark night. Now with just over one hundred thousand to defend their lines the Coalition prepared for tomorrow's battle. Tomorrow came as a clear day revealing a force of three hundred three thousand five hundred thirty two ready to march. Behind them was a larger force of one million one hundred twenty four thousand two hundred eighteen in reserve. Stragglers kept coming in waves even into the morning strengthening the defenders. Archers, bowmen, gunners, musketeers, skirmishers, spear-men, swords men, berserk-warriors, raiders,  elites, scouts, warriors, recruits, servants, minions, and healers formed ranks. At the command of their leaders every archer, and bowman let loose a volley of what must have been twenty thousand arrows into the ranks of the on coming invader. Right after that volley came a second volley to soften the number of enemies they had to engage. He heard the musketeer and rifle leaders bark out the words "fire" at those in their units. Thousands of muskets, rifles and guns discharged bullets, and projectiles into the ranks of the advancing horde of invaders. A third volley of arrows rained down on the enemy before melee units marched up to defend the archers and gunners. Behind the forward defenders Toros and other archers loosed arrows into the back lines while the two forces clashed. He knew it would not be long before he had to join in the fray. Although this enemy force outnumbered them the clash did not last as long as they expected.

Another one hundred thousand invaders joined the reduced three hundred thousand currently engaged in a one sided fight. Knowing the ferocity of Orcs the invaders' numbers did not do much damage. Toros could tell the corpses of their own colleagues being displayed did not help the invader. One hundred thousand against three hundred thousand and more made a great tale of heroism. Toros and other elves loosed the rest of their arrows as the first wave of the day was soundly defeated. Most of their casualties were smaller Goblins, the wounded who still stood, and those who took on more than they should have. Armed with a weapon and almost out of ammunition the defenders plunged into the next one hundred thousand invaders. What they did not expect were more invaders from the reserves to rush in to flank and surround them. The Coalition of Orcs, Goblins, and Elves braced themselves to be surrounded entirely by this invading horde.

To their astonishment the invaders did not make a full circle around them. Much of the landscape and hills they positioned themselves on had circlets of stones, old cesspits, and old ruins flanking the hills. The areas around the flanks had been littered with caltrops, knives, long nails, bent nails, arrowheads, spearheads, broken blades, pieces of metal, screws, and broken animal bones. Hundreds stepped on them and must have felt pain as they fell to the ground. Those who marched behind them either trampled them or killed them suffered the same fate before  the rest avoided going that way. Determined to flank them the invaders' commanders pushed a hundred thousand lesser creatures who looked like bird humanoids with long beaks. Each one was forced to walk over dead comrades and into the sharp objects. They all fell on the laid out traps getting trampled by their own and those who pushed them. Orcs did their worst to the enemy which caused fear among the invader's ranks. With their forces made up of mostly Orcs victory was certain inside his mind and heart. Goblins rushed to the back and returned with more arrows and ammunition they had stored for such occasions. Some even slipped through enemy lines to steal arrows. Only a few returned.

His female Orc companion slew hundreds of invaders who tried piercing her with spears. Her armor protected her from every slash and spear thrust. As the enemy kept pouring their casualties mounted at the feet of the defenders who started to grow tired as the day dragged on. It was not long when the rest of the reserves marched forward to end this costly battle. Orcs, Elves and Goblins fought side by side hoping to give this enemy a costly victory that would end in defeat at the hands of the next army behind them. Taking as many enemies as they could the coalition enraged the invader to adopt another tactic or strategy. Scores of them jumped the Orcs at once in the hopes they could stab them everywhere or wrestle them to the ground. It sort of worked however the coalition warriors killed most of those assailants. Because of this tactic Orcs started to fall on the battle field. Toros found himself loosing more arrows into the ranks and those who tried ganging up on individual Orcs. No one could tell how many Orcs were killed this way. For the invader it only worked in the short term. Killing the Orcs who fought as individuals did not fall so easily forcing that tactic to be thrown away. Much larger members of the invaders that appeared more like Ogres, horned furry demons, Reptilian looking monster warriors, Octopus looking humanoids with gaping mouths and tentacles for limbs, and multi-armed warriors. Others held the appearance of mutated animals that stood erect. Wherever these monstrosities came from they had seen enough warfare to kill well enough.

More Orcs began to fall slowly while the enemy fell like flies. Despite their sizes the larger foes fell to arrows and musket shot and a thrust through the neck. Many of them took down plenty of Orcs to chorale the rest to fight on and press against the defenders. Combatants fell to the ground adding more to the carnage, and building up heaps of bodies all over the battle field. While most of the larger invaders died Orcs numbers began plummeting. He stared into the eyes of one humanoid invader that looked more like a bear. Beside that one were more like it in the thousands. They stood watching the battle nearly surrounding the defending Elves and their Orc allies. Toros expected these ferocious looking grizzly warriors to join the fray. Whatever their true species name was they allowed no more invaders to pass them. No more than forty-thousand o defenders remained with heaps of enemy bodies at their feet. He spotted more beast or animal humanoids with the appearances of lions, and jungle cats watching the enemy. They allowed the defending coalition to finish off whoever was between them and the defenders. Once the fighting halted the defenders prepared for the animal like warriors who surprised them. A force of thirty thousand and counting walked away showing disinterest in this invasion. One of them shouted it was not their fight. Mutants who tried to stop them were killed instantly adding more to the carnage.

Both sides waited for the animal warriors to march away before they resumed the fighting. Toros could tell the invaders still had seven hundred thousand in their horde. He focused on killed the larger ones alongside those who managed to find arrows. Thanks to the build up of corpses the invaders found it difficult reaching the defenders without stumbling on the fallen. Deaths were even caused by slipping on blood or tripping over bodies and landing on a sharp weapon. Standing on the hill covered with bodies and blood made their defense easier. Orcs on their left started to show signs of battle exhaustion. Some attempted to pull back to a better position, but were forced back by their leaders. The day ended with another success in delaying the invaders from conquering the rest of Kashmanol. As one body the horde of invaders marched back to camp. At night the Orcs set up traps, and obstacles to prevent any attempts to flank them. Moving towards the Teniim Elves the rest of the Orcs and Goblins bolstered the defensive positions on the hill. At least thirty six thousand defenders remained.

The next day was going to be their last stand unless reinforcements came or more of those invaders broke away. On that very morning they saw six hundred thousand march towards them showing they sent forces after the ones who broke away. Just from looking at those beast like warriors who looked like cats, lions, tigers, and bears the invaders already lost one hundred thousand more. All the remaining Orcs formed a defensive circlet around the Elves who fought alongside them. Shields, spears, pikes, halberds, stakes, spikes in the ground, swords stuck in the earth, and axes formed a barrier of defense. The first barrier were the heaps of corpses that made a wall. Toros prepared for another long day of battle as he ate up his breakfast. He took a good look at the horde of various creatures, mutants, humanoids, and monsters that made up the invading army. Among this mixture of invaders he caught sight of Dark Elves, Elves, and Orcs blind folded. It made him feel uneasy about this army they fought. Were they slaves to the horde of invaders or a special unit who did not look upon the enemy until they entered the battle?

He could not ponder over this question long as the enemy showed an eagerness to kill them. Full of blind rage the invaders charged as one wave. Pushing, shoving, and trampling over each other the invaders clambered over the corpses adding more in the process. As they came to the traps and barriers of spears, and obstacles those who were in front became cannon fodder. Regardless of the losses to the barriers and traps the invaders pushed their way up to the defenders. Thousands more were trampled or killed when they fell or cut a limb on a weapon. Toros saw one pig face looking invader get his skull smashed after cutting his hand on a spear. Others had their heads shoved into spears to form a walkway bridge made from flesh. When they got to the shields arrows, and bullets pelted them. Orcs at the front began their last fight to the death. Some thirty thousand Orcs held firm behind the shields as the enemy filled the gaps with their bodies. Toros kept his eyes on the blindfolded Elves and Orcs who were herded like cattle. On this right flank he heard the sounds of shooting. A force of six thousand six hundred ninety armed infantrymen wearing armor that was leathery and covered head to toe began firing into the invader's ranks. Using volley fire these new combatants pressed their advance to the defenders. Thirty thousand invaders broke off to deal with them.

Most of their own Orcs fell in the fight to the death. Just a few thousand still held their ground as the enemy pulled back allowing four thousand of their own Elf and Orc warriors to march up. When the blindfolds were removed the Orcs and the Elves the invaders brought from some other world saw the defenders. Toros saw rage in their eyes and on their expressions. One by one three thousand two hundred thirteen Elf Warriors, and Eight hundred forty four Orcs turned against the invader. A single Female Dark Elf in shackles, outlandish armor with a red stripe running down approached them. She explained the gunners are rebels trying to free them and they plus the Orkai pledged not to fight their own kind even if they are from another world. Her name was Inedre Ilrenere, she was sent by her fellow slave warriors to stay put while the rest attacked their former masters. All Kashmanol Orcs who remained joined them in the plunge. Inedre directed Toros to watch for the rebels who fought to make it to them. All day they watched the invaders clash with their former slaves rebels, and Kashmanol's Orcs. By mid afternoon just sixty-five rebels armed with rifles reached them. Once again their defending numbers dwindled. Although their numbers dwindled the defenders and their new allies took a staggering number of enemies with them.

Thanks to the enraged Elf Warriors, and Orcs from other worlds the enemy was pushed back. The Kashmanol Orcs who joined them did not return to their side. Most of them were killed while the rest were captured. Only the Teniim Elves remained with a few thousand Dark Elves left and a handful of rebels to defend this position. Toros looked up at the sky wondering where his former lover was. If only she can witness my work here in Kashmanol. Toros prayed she was not with those immature women who manipulated her and that cowardly Bard.

Eburo of the Drake Enclaves

His own parents allowed him to ride the scaled fat beast for a certain amount of time. It annoyed him throughout his years as a child. Every time he wanted to ride the horse sized lizard his father called him off after ten minutes. Its true name was "Imperial Wood Drake" a type of reptile often used as mounts.  All sorts of nations across this world rode a certain type of large reptile, Dragon, beast, steed, ass, and large feline mammals. His childhood was full of play with other children, siblings, cousins, neighbors, playmates, and what his mother called preparation. When he grew to the age of six or seven, he was trained how to fight with various weapons. Warfare came to him as a self-learning experience by age thirteen. Riding his own Imperial Wood Drake, "Handsome One" Eburo Ridierson fought to defend his enclave among enclaves next to clansmen. Along the rivers, streams, and the islets in the flowing waters they called Qreelia's Fingers. The islands served as a means to cross with bridges connecting each one to the riverbanks.  Armed with a War Lance for charges, cudgel, bow and arrows, hatchet, tribal knife, and a war-pick some clansman gave him, Eburo rode with other Drake Lizard riders to war against the Nuckelavee Spawns, Antler Beasts who eat humans, Ogres, and hoof Demons.

In groups of ten Eburo and his tribesmen skirmished down the invading forces with arrows. That usually occurred whenever demands to leave by the Elders and Chiefs were refused or ignored. His was one of nine small war parties set out to test the enemy's strength. Then his war party would charge them with lances and run into the woods luring as many as they could to the main body of their defenders. Dressed in a tribal tunic, riding trousers, and a shawl Eburo recalled the battles he had fought in until he reached the age of twenty-seven. His shawl was long and big enough to be used as a hood and wrap around him. All he showed were his eyes hiding his black ash covered lips as a mark of his enclave, and scars his Master's put on his chin. The hood hid his half shaven head with valuable trinkets at the end his hair, which were trophies from those he defeated.
