While Human Works

"Time to go to work." a feline's human friend said petting the cat's head.

For so long a 20 lb. ten-year-old buff colored cat lived with a human who took care of him. Like the cats he met at the Vet, this cat had a good life with this human. Living indoors wasn't too bad. Jumping from furniture to furniture at his size was fun. The human he called "Megal" allowed him to sleep on the couch, sofa, and a new black chair. Its human owner-companion treated it fairly calling him Reese. What the human did not know was this cat wasn't always home while the human was gone.

As soon as the door close shut and locked this cat was ready for another adventure. Every day this human left for work his cat was thought to be asleep or running amuck around his house. Where the fireplace sat in the house, a blue-green portal opened up. No matter what was in front of the fireplace the portal appeared. Purring, and meowing with excitement the cat called "Reese" jumped into that portal. Close to 330 times a year this cat entered another realm or plane of existence. Coming out the portal the cat entered a lodging-headquarters where a sweet looking elf welcomed him.

Known as Reese to his owner, this cat allowed the elf to put on an adventuring pack on his little back. Once he was prepared the cat exited the lodging and into another world of adventure. Reese always went somewhere with some companions big and small. This time the cat went searching for the pendant of some ancient long forgotten deity. His human probably heard of this god whose name escaped the little cat's big mind.

Mothgar Island

Now divided between the factions of the Religious Vullanese Empire, and the Boathrian State, Mothgar was considered a part of the Boathrin Kingdom. Once united under one kingdom in the Valde Sea, Mothgar joined dozens of other islands in a bid to become independent. However, Mothgar's inhabitants were divided between those who followed Vullan's Religion and the Boathrian Peoples who chose a pantheon of deities. The southwestern half of the island held a smaller number of followers compared to the vast majority of Mothgarians who now considered themselves Boathrian. To add more insult these Boathrians sided with the newly formed V.U.V.R. a faction hell bent on eradicating slavery, any version of forced servitude, or owning people as property. Vullan's Teachings require non-believers to be made servants or property. A system, which many in the Valde Sea welcomed.
