Mockshah's Service to Atlantis

A woman walked up to the house carrying a brief case in one hand and a walkie talkie in the other. She wore a long trench coat over her Palace Uniform that was bestowed upon her by the royal family. Her status was inquisitor, detective, Chief of Police's recruiter, and a member of the Royal Courts. In this desperate hour she had to find warriors, fighters, soldiers, and killers willing to bring justice back to the streets of her home world. Her own Commissioner of Lost Atlantis sent her to recruit this one operative of this IGA that Sir Bob Denson was a member of along with his entire world and race. To the distaste of the Commissioner and the Royal Court this agent, soldier, and somehow commander was also a pirate. Whoever Bob wanted her to recruit he was not the first person to consider. She thought he was going to select a brave Knight or Hero or perhaps a Champion from another world. This monkey tailed humanoid the size of a door fooled her into coming to a house at the shadiest of places, the woods on a hill with a ravine.

"The Commissioner is not going to like this guy. You know how much Atlantis hates Pirates!" she hissed at Bob who ignored her protest outright.

"He is the best we have to offer, however he can only do this at night. According to the contract he made with us he is to remain on his home world during the day unless he is truly needed." Bob replied with some enthusiasm.

"Besides my wife and I saw him at the Dig site last year." He added.

"What does that have to do with anything?" She demanded from the humanoid who looked more like a human from this world.

"Nothing." he replied with a wry smile.

Sir Denson in his longer duster coat wiped away sweat from his brow. It was still October and it felt a little hot to be wearing this type of clothing. He took the lead and took the Commissioner's Assistant as he called her to the brick path that lead up to the house. As the two descended the brick steps one by one he veered off the path to the window closest to the front door. He tapped on it three times. This puzzled her a moment as she watched the large human wait patiently before tapping on the window a second time. Wasn't the doorbell supposed to be used than the window? Then it hit her there was someone else in the house who was not supposed to be disturbed. Before she can put a word in the window opened and the screen was removed quietly. A figure shorter than Bob climbed out of the window and closed everything up.

"Good Evening Mockshah how are you?" Bob asked him.

"I am simply bored, crafty, and need of some adventure." the figure replied to the larger man. The smaller man stretched and yawned scratching his side.

"May I introduce you to the Royal Agent of Atlantis Razina Kholeen." Bob said presenting the woman to the smaller man.

"Pleasure is all mine my lady." This Mockshah said stretching a hand out to her. She took his hand then was surprised by a sudden yank and pull followed by a long kiss of her knuckles. As flattered as she was Razina could not help but pull her hand away. She did not slap him since it was not how she operated professionals don't get carried away.

"Ahem excuse me Mr. Mockshah but we have urgent business to discuss." she said getting the man's attention.

"Go on." Mockshah replied to her. Bob caught his attention and lured him over to the woods. She followed the two figures into the woods they just exited. Bob dug into a pocket and pulled out a syringe which he stuck into Mockshah's vein. In front of Agent Razina the figure transformed into a very buff, strong looking subject at his size. He stood at five foot eight and grew a tail just like Bob's.

"Wait he is one of you?" She asked in surprise.

"Yes a fourth cousin. He is also a half breed, a hybrid if you will. Part Sudar, part native, and somehow part dragon." Bob explained briefly to the Agent.

All three went further into the woods once Mockshah's transformation was complete. They came to the ship on the field, which transported them to this world. When they boarded and buckled in the ship lifted off and sped its way towards Atlantis. At a pace that would be light speed the ship made its way to the planet that was called Atlantis. Mockshah explained how own world is believed it was somewhere on their planet. She chuckled a little bit at this idea of the famous city being on his home world.

"Is the first time to Atlantis for you?" she asked him.

"Yes it is the first time going to Atlantis." Mockshah said.

"Brief him on his mission." Bob interrupted their conversation.

"Very well. Mockshah your mission is to take out a certain crook who may resemble a familiar character." Razina began the briefing with the human. She took one good look at him and realized for the first time. He looked exactly like Bob Denson. Only he was a smaller version of him.

"Who is this crook and where can I find him?" Mockshah asked immediately.

"Baneenas is his name, or its name if you want to label Baneenas as a thing or trans. For the past decade and a half he has terrorized three districts along the outer rim of the main city. That is where a few of our workshops and factories are located. Most of our workers recently became males, and humanoid males we had to hire in order to decrease his appetite for women. He is not a cannibal, but scares women into thinking he is before-" Razina stopped herself as she was about to cry. All those poor women who became his victims of terror and other things. If the males were prettier than most like say no beards then they too would fall victim. Memories of being forced to watch four partners and fellow subjects suffer similar fates flashed before her eyes.

"That is all we need to know." She heard a female's voice from the corner of the passenger hold of the ship. She was cloaked with her face covered from view.

"Mockshah prepare yourself for this mission. We are counting on you to eliminate just him. That is all." the cloaked figure said taking the floor from a haunted Razina who was fighting tears.

"Just kill him for us!" Razina screamed letting the haunting flashbacks get the best of her. The cloaked figure grabbed her and wrapped her arms around her.

This Mockshah got up as the ship started to slow down. He went to the changing room that was inside the ship. Bob held her hand as she cried uncontrollably. It was too much to remember all those horrifying deeds that crazed hairy beast did those poor officers, and workers. Through her tears she saw Mockshah exit the room wearing a nice mobster's suit with hints of a pirate's add on that suited the clothing. He put on a gray colored duster but not hat. His hair was thick, and wavy hair with some curls. In a heartbeat he made his way to the launching pod that was on the other side of the hold.
He climbed inside without a word knowing what his mission was. She watched the pod shoot away from the ship the moment he slammed the door.

"D...do we- we need to watch him?" She asked worried about the newly recruited agent.

"Might as well. Once he lands, we shall watch him." the cloaked figure said releasing her. Bob pulled out a tablet that showed whoever they were watching. She wiped away the tears to watch this Mockshah land in the middle of the street that was already broken. He slid the hatch open and climbed out of the pod. In seconds five of Baneenas' goons that look more like extra hairy baboons in street denim clothing as the uniforms. Razina's fear for Mockshah grew as the back hairs rose up. She knew what these goons were capable of when someone is caught alone by them.

Mockshah reached into his jacket and pulled out a baton. Before these goons could even reach for their own, he sprang into action. Hitting knees, elbows, legs, feet, hands, stomachs, chests, and heads Mockshah beat these five repeatedly. He used such speed that none of the goons could not even respond in time to block him. Like a domino effect the five goons fell on the street unable to get up. Mockshah put the baton back in his jacket and presumed to walk further down the street.

"Be sure to call in a few squad cars. Those goons won't be in the streets anymore. However, send them to our prisons in the IGA head planet." Bob ordered Razina.

An Outlaw's Encounter

For years he had been rowing across these waters to reach the small islet that was barely connected to the old light house. At night he would row around the shore to the marshes making illegal deals with smugglers who always watched their backs. Either the authorities were after them or pirates were after them. He was always under the impression that pirates and smugglers worked together. As a child he was introduced to the life of the outlaw, and the smuggling business by his own father. It mostly involved stealing, burglary, and conning. During the day time he worked as a coast watchman to hide his true intentions at night.

One hour before the crack of dawn he exited his own beach house along the beachhead. It was still dark the perfect time to pull off another mission to smuggle in desired goods to the old lighthouse. Using his lantern he made his way to the pier where he left his dinghy covered up. Looking ahead at the light house he saw the smuggler's Lugger waiting for the cargo to be delivered. At least the rest of the cargo he had been stashing away thanks to bandits, thieves, foolhardy adventurers and teens willing do anything for money, adventure, and a way to rebel against authority. There was also the confiscated booze found on a youth which parent's left on his doorstep. It was supposed to be for his sorrows and living a miserable, lonely life when in fact it only encourage his trade. Booze was not the only thing he sold to smugglers at a fair price on his terms.

Knowing the coast was clear he ripped the cover off and pushed the dinghy to the side. By doing so he pulled another dinghy from the waters that was linked to the other by chain. Using engineering he was able to replace the dinghy with a copy then covered that one before unlatching the chain link from the other. The device and chain link he used were taken on to the dinghy with him in case anyone came snooping around. Setting out he used the oars to row his way towards the islet. He rowed with all his might to get past the tide of the ocean near the pier. Using the path he was supposed to take this outlaw rowed across the bay to the old lighthouse. The moonlight was his lantern as it would likely draw unwanted attention. The locals did not wake up until dawn or when  the bell rang around sunrise.

Rowing as quietly as possible the outlaw felt something was off. He tried to shake if off as he he kept going yet something in the air was not right. For a moment he stopped rowing to let the boat float a little as he sniffed the air in case there was a strange smell that he could not smell at first. As the dinghy glided a little on the water it bumped into something. He panicked a little and checked on their goods. None of the merchandise even budged. Relaxing the outlaw tried to row further but he was stuck. Underneath his dinghy the water roiled as something emerged from the water. The surface vibrated as whatever was under his boat came up to the surface. At first he thought he was going to capsize, but something must have wrapped itself around the hull. Holding on to the oars for dear life the outlaw felt his dinghy be lifted up from the water. A huge body emerged from the water revealing a large four legged monster with a long neck and a long tail. This long necked monster used its tail to bring the outlaw and his dinghy to face it. This creature or monster had a head that could pass for a dragon's or beasts head with no hair. His facial features were shocked as this beast brought him forth. In one bite this beast bit off the outlaw's head and tossed the dinghy and the rest towards the islet.

Something for History

It was about time he got started with his job. He had put it off for at least five years now. During those five years he had to settle with no more than ten cartographers, self made scientists, and sailors who claimed to have gone to the new world. Two centuries had passed since Christopher Columbus came to this new world. A land that was vast, full of wilderness, riches, wild animals, mysteries, and of course savages. Tales about various tribes, nations, and small kingdoms spread from ear to ear across Europe. In his head he had no doubts it must have spread to other continents. To the south of Europe was the continent of Africa that was still unexplored much like this continent was. Due to the reputation of the Islamic World and the Moors it would likely be left alone for another half century. Yet the Portuguese, Dutch, and Spanish exploited its riches and its peoples to the Old World. He had seen these dark skinned figures of Africa whom spoke many languages much like the Savages of this New World.

As a noble he had been handed down a vast wealth from his father and his father before him. It was more like an inheritance from the family that accumulated over the centuries since the Medieval Times. His family had been known to be Knights, Warriors first tracing back to the days under Saxon Rule, Barons, Lords, and Landowners. For ten years he kept hearing stories from the New World by word of mouth and read about it whenever he got the chance to do so. His favorite explorers happened to be Hernan Cortez, Francisco Pizarro, Ferdinand Magellan, Juan Ponce De Leon, and of course Marco Polo. His own country of England had the famous John Smith of Jamestown, Henry Hudson who founded the Hudson Bay, Sir Francis Drake, Sir Walter Raleigh, and John Cabot inspired him to put his own name up there. He walked through the streets of Kingston Jamaica at least the beginnings of another street. Four months ago on June Seventh of this year Port Royal was destroyed by the earthquake of this year. Various peoples black, white, native, Spaniard, French, and those of other European Ethnics or Race watched him pass through in his Nobleman's outfit.

He scanned the people in search of the person he was supposed to hire for this expedition into the back country that was past the thirteen colonies. According to the reports he was an explorer first who then left for the sea and began a short year of piracy only to see that career sunk. The report said he had been kicked off the crew of buccaneers since the crew despised him too much. Apparently he found work as an explorer again for charting out the islands that had not been explored. His income was unknown however it is speculated he may have connections with smugglers and companies of other nations. The noble man was told this individual had a fine beard and kept it trimmed. Thick brown hair and the makings of a darker complexion that would be seen on any sailor or pirate. His hand had a ring taken from a Spanish officer after a raid on a Spanish ship. That was how he could identify this person who had encounters with the savages of the northern continent, fought Spanish Dogs, lived through the rough seas, and managed to dodge the gallows. When the Nobleman asked about the ring more than ten people pointed at the Tavern.

Without further delay the nobleman walked up to the Tavern half expecting to be jumped or robbed blind in the streets. A squadron of redcoats came by on patrol eliminating any prospects of him getting attacked or mugged in Jamaica. As he came up to the Tavern he found the handsome rogue with a luscious, curvy, and buxom woman who appeared to be Spanish and French in his arms. Her entire feature was smashed against his. The former pirating rogue kissed her ferociously at the bar. Whoever the nobleman was he had found the right man. A raccoon's tail dangled from his hat, a feather twirled in his hair, and a pirate's tattoo on his right shoulder. Sure enough the ring from a Spanish Officer was on his right hand.

Mockshah's Dungeoneering Gone Astray

Some time in Fall Mockshah and a trio of friends traveled up to the Pisgah Cliffs and Parkway for a day of fun. Just a party of five armed individuals wielding foam weapons engaged each other in mock combat. He may have felt a little childish for buying one at the store. However he said screw what everyone else thinks I am doing this! At the top of the Pisgah region he and five other colleagues parked in the parking lot. For nearly two hours or more Mockshah the Pirate, his companions Sir Gyffon the Master Swordsman, Joanne the Valkerie Sword Maiden, and Caesaron the Rogue sparred with these fake weapons while exploring the area. In the autumn weather they did not hesitate to cross some lines by going over certain boundaries. Climbing a hill and trekking much of the landscape brought quite the adventure. When their little adventure was over they immediately returned home to the campus grounds.

Mockshah sighed as he returned to his own quarters aboard the so called Dorm that he considered a cramped ship of the Line. Living alone had its benefits and so did living next door colleagues and the RA. He went straight for bed feeling accomplished for the day. Some time in the night he heard a knock on the door. Waking up to the knocking he got out of bed and put on a robe since he slept in the nude. He felt a little agitated however he knew who it was, his Lord Commander Denson. As he opened it he saw three figures at the door. Lord Commander Denson of Clan Denethorson, and two female warriors clad in battle armor. These three humanoids from another world had tails, although they resemble a fictional race they are far from acting coy about what they really are. He was one of them only had half their blood in his veins.

"Mockshah are you ready?" Lord Commander Denson asked him with a smug expression. The two females were Valerie the Monk warrior, and Livvy the Friendly Burglar. One had short hair that was dark and met her shoulders, and the other had shorter hair that was styled with gel and shaped kind of like a delicious almond or some type of nut. It actually looked good with some strands of hair hanging down. They were the same duo who usually knocked on his door, but not without things getting a little out of control and too much fun.

"Yes my Lord Commander I am ready. Are the other three ready?" Mockshah asked Denson. Valerie knocked on the door across from him where his other colleagues slept. Blond Batman, and Cool Cat Artist exited their dorm appeared tired and groggy. She immediately had them change into some Rogue style armor and outfits for a mission. Mockshah was given a similar outfit while given a dose of their true forms that were inside their own blood. Each one had the blood of these humanoids which had to be extracted in order to truly blend in. Mockshah watched himself and his two colleagues transform into their real selves, the warriors and fighters they really were. It can only be unleashed when in danger or at night.

"Now that you three have been prepared for your assignment do you recall what you need to do?" Livvy asked folding her arms as Bob locked their dorm rooms for them.

"We are to infiltrate an M.O.R. held castle as discretely as possible without warning too many guards." Blond said scratching his head.

"Correct, you three will be working with Caesaron, Gryffon and Joanne, while Princess Eva watches your progress. All six of you will be transported to our home world, which is the location." Valerie said taking the words out of Livvy's mouth.

Without hesitation the party exited the building with everyone else sound asleep. Mockshah pondered over who this Princess Eva was and why was she watching over them. Was she part of the IGA or something? In his gut and mind he hoped not listening to the orders of a Princess was too much for him. He had been killing monsters for years particularly those within the Mutant Oligarchy's Armies. Outside they met the other three plus Princess Eva who had curves, large breasts, a petite body, and legs that made him aroused in a heartbeat. Bob, Livvy, Valerie, and this Princess Eva led the seven rogues over to a ship that was waiting in the practice football field. Mockshah watched the Princess with a hint of interest yet some suspicions. As soon as they boarded the ship he realized she was one of the students here. She so happened to be that one girl he had an interest in.

He remained quiet for the rest of the voyage which was shortened by portals that sent ships to one part of the galaxy to another part somehow. He did not even want to think about this nor the TV show he watched years ago. The other six chatted a little bit calling the Princess by her real name over which he sort of winced at since she hardly spoke to him at all on campus. She tried making conversation with everyone including him.

"How are you Mockshah?" she asked.

"Oh I am fine just hoping this doesn't reach the ears of the government or any secret organization that would try to seize you or our alien friends here." Mockshah replied as honest as he could.

"Listen I don't mean to ignore you on campus." she said softly putting two hands on his knees as if she was about to kiss him. Mockshah was about to go for a kiss when she let go and went to the cockpit where the pilot was flying. Everyone else looked at him with the biggest smiles and widest eyes ever. No one even said a word, because no words were needed for that situation.

Wherever their ship was going it had hit a belt of tiny asteroids that pounded the ship for several minutes. It rocked everyone inside and some of the rogues fell out of their seats. Bob cursed under his breath wanting to kill the pilot. He was supposed to go under and over the belt of asteroids. It took nearly another hour before they arrived at the location. Mockshah expect a smooth landing. He thought he heard the Princess' voice scream at the top of her lungs not to land there. Sure enough the pilot crash landed the vessel into the earth. Wasting not a single moment the rogues and warriors discovered the landed did no harm to them nor the Princess. With Mockshah in the lead they climbed out of the vessel leaving the Princess, Pilot under the care of the warriors.

"Okay we need to use that route to get inside." he said to the rest of the rogues who nodded yes in response. He urged them with his hand to move it and they all did. Like cats in the dark the rogues leaped from wall to wall with him following them from behind.

It was hard to see how the castle was built due to the dark night sky hanging over the planet. For a few minutes the party of seven rogues clambered up the walls before finding a way inside. Seven rogues jumped down inside one of the halls through a large open window. Whatever the M.O.R. had done to this castle made it larger, and the decorations made it horrible. It appeared more like a haunted house and haunted maze for a Halloween event.

"The decorations look uh festive." Joanne said looking around at the strange mixture of decorations that must have been hung up randomly. It almost looked like Christmas had come to town late.

"Just ignore them as much as possible and focus on the mission." Caesaron said looking at the decorations himself.

"Mockshah, Mockshah can you hear me through the inner com?" Eva's voice appeared inside his ear.

"Oh no, no, no." He muttered under his breath. "Yes your royalness I can hear you just fine."

"Okay goodies! There is a little treat I left you and your little party that should help you stay energized and awake!" She said in that typical happy voice of hers. "Princess Eva out!"

"Well my jolly rogues we have treats from the Southern Belle herself." Mockshah said almost scoffing.
He knew her title as Princess allowed her to have some command over missions. He opened a pouch and took out a treat. All the rogues rolled their eyes giving their own negative comment about the treat. Mockshah took the whole treat in his mouth and chewed quickly before swallowing as he heard noise that sounded like a barracks. When the rogues finished their own treats they followed him down the hall. Each one ran fingers along the walls in search of secret passageways. This hall brought them
to a chamber that was more of a meeting hall than a barracks. He checked their surroundings and saw the wall opposite them was lined with heads and skulls of enemies of the MOR that made his heart sink a little. Under each skull was a plate that said how they died before their beheading. He read none of them aloud while trying to fight the tears over the deaths of a few female warriors who helped him. As he took a moment to breath quickly Mockshah approached the large door of the meeting hall that had the barracks next to it. Like a cat he climbed over the archway and dropped down on the other side of the meeting hall. Without any warning his stomach churned a little.

"WHat is happening?" He asked looking down. He felt his stomach and bowel movements were about to explode. In seconds he realized the treat he had eaten must have had some ingredient inside. At the same time the alarm went off.

"The alarms are going off we need to get out of here!" Cool Cat panicked a little.

"Yeah I know and we know!" Mockshah snapped at him while holding his stomach and ass. His stomach was not taking the treat well.

Inside the meeting hall they heard all the troops inside gather their feet and race to the entrance. Feeling that he cannot control his bowel movements Mockshah was forced to rip off his own trousers, and underwear thinking fast. In his mind this was gross and brilliant. What better way to make a garrison slip over something. His own buttocks revealed he had the trots that spewed from his bowels. All the other rogues vomited when they saw him. Each one projectile vomited all over the floor and the entrance to the large chamber. He quickly rushed to the end of the hall to wipe himself clean with a tapestry banner hanging on the wall. Mockshah witness a chain of event result in domino effect. M.O.R. guards and troops or raiders came out of the chamber and slipped on his mess. There was enough vomit and diarrhea on the floor to cause three to slip at the same time. Armed with weapons the MOR slipped in the air hitting each other's. Some pushed another into spikes, weapons, walls somehow causing their deaths. Having the trots somehow came in handy in clearing an entire barracks.

A Soul's Journey

His body was finally laid to rest inside the grave that was dug in the desert. Closer to the borders of Kush his family decided to bury his body. They had him wrapped in a cloth as a means of mummification to preserve his body for the journey into the after life. Due to their status he was not given the expensive burial most nobles received. Their deceased loved one was by no means a Pharaoh  who received the finest burial along with a Pyramid over their tomb. Other nobles would be buried in a tomb called mastabas. Every Mastaba was built smaller than all the pyramids. Even the smallest pyramid constructed was bigger than a mastaba.

Pottery Maker Tahu was buried with his personal possessions, and food placed in urns. Egypt's sands and dirt covered Tahu's body as the burial ritual came to a close during the day. His corpse was lifeless however his own spirit was aware of the burial. Tahu's spirit watched his own burial. As nightfall came he arose from his own grave leaving his own body with the urns. According to the custom of burying their dead they had to leave food for the loved one's journey through the after life. Tahu had no need for the food for some reason. He was not even hungry since he was dead. Upon emerging from his own grave Tahu found himself in a strange land that was not the desert. Wherever he was it was not covered in sands, but fields of reeds and grass that grew along the Nile's Banks. Then it hit him like a hammer on a nail or a pick on a stone quarry. Were other's aware of where they actually go once the burial ceremony was completed and their living loved ones leave them?

Tahu was about to make his first step inside what they called the afterlife when he heard a meow. For some reason he froze in his tracks. Remembering what was said about cats being the guardians of the underworld Tahu began to run for his life. Through what he perceived as reeds Tahu ran from the source of the meow as it followed him. He felt as though the cats were chasing after him. All he had been told about the underworld and the afterlife were the gates and the possible sentence of going to hell for living a bad life. His feet carried him through the reeds without letting him turn around to see what was chasing him. Tahu ran into what felt like wet ground that turned into a marshy land. He kept going until he bumped into something.

Before him stood a statue carved from granite dedicated to Anubis the god who watched over the dead. In moments Tahu heard the cats again meowing and crying out in warning. Whatever spine he had left shivered and he ran for it running into Ammit. Ammit the demon with the hippo's body and the head of the crocodile reared her head to face the dead soul. He screamed and ran as fast as he could with the soul-eater giving chase through the marsh that flanked the field reads. Tahu's fate was determined by how fast he could run and how well he could hide from this devouring monster of Egypt. Although he was dead Tahu still had trouble trying to escape this crocodile-hippo monster that leaped after him while giving chase. None of the cats were after him any more since he had a new predator to give chase. With all his speed Tahu ran as hard and as fast as his legs could carry him before coming to a large cave. This cave was in the ground and lead downward. Seeing this as a way to escape Tahu rushed inside to escape Ammit. Going down Tahu found he was now standing before the many gates of the Egyptian Underworld. He saw the scales and Osiris himself waiting for the next soul to approach him. More than a hundred other souls stood waiting their own turn.

From the Slide To the Ground Life story

This is a story that comes to mind almost every year. I cannot just erase this one from my own childhood memories. We all have those memories from our childhood that are countless in number. However there is a certain number of memories which we latch on to.Some of the memories that I find myself latching onto are from the school Emmanuel Christian School. I keep wondering if it was spelled Immanuel Baptist Christian School as I grew up in the days after third grade. One would say I got into trouble many times there and was sent to the principal's office, and made to stand on a line for long periods. Those were cruel punishments according to kids in those days of the 90's unless you were smart about it and compared that to what your parents did.

On the playground were a lot of playground equipment for the after school care program. There was a slide closest to the building, a second one closest to the end to of the playground, some swings, merry ground around, monkey bars, sandbox, an arch to climb on, a climbing tower, and a basket ball court at the very end. As I recall there were other playground equipment that had to be replaced at some point. From Kindergarten to Third Grade I played on this playground with many of my friends only one of whom I am still in touch with to this day. One day I walked up to the tallest slide, which was red and made from metal. Some kids were scared others were not. I was hesitant, but went down the slide anyways. That day I decided to do something different that would seem dangerous for a kid to do. I climbed to the top of the slide then stood up and jumped from the top. With my arms and legs spread out and body exposed like a belly flop I landed on the earth. Nothing happened to me there were no bones broken nor did it hurt for some reason. I did it again only that time I screamed until I landed. Three more times I did this until a female teacher yelled at me to go down the slide properly. I heard laughter from all the older students who were way older than ten years old.

As an adult I understand what they thought of me. Some dumb kid who did not know how to use a slide properly. If you were to watch me you would say I was sky diving without a parachute? Well I am guilty of looking stupid for doing that. Immanuel must have thought there was something wrong with me. Was I a dumb kid or did I just come off as a stupid kid who did have a brain? It needs to be noted that I did not always think clearly before acting.

Tioban's Final Encounter

Following Lady Mahkay was a difficult task. She possessed levitating powers that allowed her to glide with ease above the floor of the hallway. He almost had to run in order to keep up with her. For several minutes the pair of them explored the inside of the ruins finding nothing worth taking except a few chests, and broken down furniture. Most of the chests were already opened and looted with whatever the adventurers did not want scattered on the floor or hanging out of the chest.

"Um My Lady, who are we looking for again?" Tioban asked curious.

"We are actually searching for my long lost son who calls himself "Nathan" some reason." Lady Mahkay replied to him as she illuminated the dark hall to reveal it lead to some stairs.

"I was under the impression we were searching for your daughter's lover, not her brother." Tioban admitted to Mahkay. This woman had obviously lied to him she was not looking for her daughter's lover, but a brother of hers who had gotten lost in this region. Yet to her misfortune Tioban had never ventured into this part of the area. Whenever he passed through here it was always occupied by some other party or travelers.

"The only reason I did not mention our true mission was that his sister has had violent tensions between them. Both had a history of fighting each other and trying to kill the other." Mahkay said turning her head to look over her shoulder.

"Did he have any issues with you? If you will allow me to ask." Tioban asked her.

Mahkay was about to answer when some noise coming from down the stairs caught her attention. She raise a hand as if to silence someone. There was no one else but the Dragon Knight. As any good knight would he kept his mouth shut. He listened to the noise as it came again from down the stairs. It came as an echo of someone else's voice. As he listened closely trying to figure out if that was a voice or some noise. His ears collected two voices of a pair of men chatting as their voices carried through the ruins. Mahkay glided forward to the stairs beckoning for him to follow her. Tioban followed her down the stairs of the ruins running into the usual critters small spiders, and rats that infest ruins. There were also bugs and other natural critters that one would find inside ruins.

"Tioban do you hear those voices?" Lady Mahkay asked him stopping to hover above the middle step.

"Yes my Lady I do. It sounds like two men are talking." He replied to the Battle Mage.

Mahkay proceeded to descend these steps while levitating with her illumination powers showing the way. Whoever these two men were they must be in a deep conversation about something. Their voices grew louder and louder as he and Lady Mahkay drew closer. He could almost hear the conversation as they rounded the corner to find a chamber that was light up with modern work lights. It appeared strange for this type of technology to be in a world full of warriors, and knights still fighting with melee weapons.

".....Don't worry about your dear sweet cheery lass Teebs you are scheduled to meet her tomorrow." said one voice.

"Oh thank the gods of Olympus, and of Val Hala I have wanted this for years!" said the second voice.

"Now what were these artifacts again?" the first voice asked sounding puzzled.

"For the last time Jack these are cycladic vases. I have no idea who operated that gate nor can I even fathom how the Phaistos disc could still hold such power. Lucky for us there was a copy made. Otherwise we would both be in jail somewhere in the EU!" Teebs said loudly.

"Hard to believe these were carried across the galaxy like this!" Jack said like he was admitting something.

"That gate did act as a portal to other parts of the galaxy somehow. What perplexes me is that they were crafted from stone material and it works like some powered machine!" Teebs pointed out in a frantic manner.

"Calm yourself mate. There is not need to act like there is no beer or alcohol!" Jack said trying to calm him down. Tioban heard a clicking sound like a gun was being cocked.

"Easy, easy I did not mean to trigger you about the beer. The beer is not gone!" Jack said.

Mahkay zoomed over to the room with the Dragon Knight chasing after her. Both entered a room with two men a pirate, and an archaeologist in a gold yellow shirt, a plaid shirt with rolled up sleeves, and tan rough looking pants. His boots looked like they had been in mud and hardened to the feeling of stone. The pirate wore the typical outfit with a bone necklace, and some trinkets in his bandana. Over that outfit he wore a long coat that looked more like a handcrafted duster. He had his hands up and the archaeologist had a revolver pointed at him. Mahkay drew their attention to the doorway. Both lowered their hands at the sight of a battle mage hovering at the door.

"Um hello how are you?" the archaeologist asked not sure if he knew who they were.

"Salutations and greetings to you Lady Mahkay." the pirate said greeting the Noble Battle Mage.

Tioban came to the doorway and sheathed his weapon. Teebs the archaeologist laughed and put away his revolver. He did the same thing with his own hat greeting both nobles. This Teebs character wore glasses and donned a fine looking beard he must have trimmed three days ago. During his days with an expedition Tioban learned to tell when and how a beard was trimmed.

"Salutations to you pirate captain. Who is your friend here?" Mahkay replied to Jack's greeting.

"This is Teebs MacAoidh a field worker and practicing archaeologist of Lady Denson." Jack introduced them to this archaeologist.

As Jack was about to introduce their names to this lone archaeologist. Several horned creatures entered the chamber through large cracks and other holes in the wall. Each one had a goat beard and a long forked tongue coming out of their jaws. All of them were hairy from head to toe and hooves for feet. Teebs immediately fired three shots into one of the creatures while Jack went for his sword. The pirate got behind Teebs while the other two went after the others. Mahkay threw a fireball at one and Tioban crushed another with his shield. Teebs fired the rest of his rounds into another horned creature that entered the chamber. He grabbed two trowels to use as weapons with Jack still hiding behind him. A few more horned creatures came in only to be killed off quickly. Teebs used the trowels like daggers stabbing one of them before the rest slipped away into the darkness.

"Thank you for the assistance. I am in your debt." Teebs said kneeling before the nobles. Jack did the same as he did sheathing his own weapon.

"You are from another world that is not ours." Mahkay said accusingly to Teebs. The man who called himself Teebs was taken aback at this accusation.

"Um My Lady you are correct I do come from another world which I am not allowed to mention." Teebs replied honestly.

"What world would that be? Would it have a certain place called Crete, because we heard you mention the cycladic artifacts and only the Minoans are known for that." Tioban said approaching the man called Teebs.

"Yes it does, does the name Lancaster or House of York ring a bell?" Teebs asked quickly. Mahkay laughed at this showing her joy in speaking with this human. The Noble dropped to her feet and lifted the man up from his feet with a grin. She clasped his hands in hers.

"I am looking for my son who may have gone to your world. He goes by the name of Nathan." She spilled the beans on him.

"I know of one Nathan who went to some University in Chapel Hill, but I have never met him. Nathan Nathan, oh yes there is one sleaze ball with the last name Arrington. Would that help?" Teebs replied to the Noble.

"Yes it does. Does he hang with your love interest?" Mahky responded back.

Those words triggered Teebs and he punched a wall hard enough to break his hand and an object. It left a crack on the wall. Whatever his situation was he wanted it to be over that was clear. Tioban studied his face as he tried to calm himself to speak to the Nobless.

"Ease yourself. It is probably not what it seems." Jack said putting a hand on his shoulder.

"I will leave you two to your own task. As you for you Sir Knight thank you for accompanying me. Now we must head over this world." Mahkay said leaving the two men in the chamber full of dead creatures.

A Quiet Cafeteria Life story

Back when I was at Emmanuel Christian School in Clemons, North Carolina I always lunch at the cafeteria. During those hours I chose what I wanted among their selection. I honestly cannot say if it was bad because I never threw up inside the cafeteria. There were a few times I had money which was in the form of change and the cafeteria lady said I didn't have enough. At first I thought I did not have enough money yet now I am wondering if she meant food. As any cafeterias are everyone was talking and it was loud. Everyday it was the same type of noise yet different topics and the same people talking. There was this one day where I was seven or six years old that I changed that for a few minutes. Being the unique kid that I was who was no doubt annoying to everyone else I did something that has been done before. Covering my ears with both hands I shouted "QUIET!" with my kid voice. I did not how loud I spoke nor did I even care. Everything went quiet for a few minutes. It was the first time I had done that and the last time I did that. Bud Phibbs I hope you read this and remember. I miss you buddy.

Dragon Knight's New Quest

The Dragon Knight got up from the table. He went over to Sir Denson's Booth where he had left his weapons and shield. Tioban picked up his shield and his weapons. All four of the Champions and Heroes looked up and saw him. They appeared rather curious about what he discovered at that table. All their eyes were on him. One of the serving girls brought extra mead, and ale to the booth. She was about to offer one to Tioban only he declined.

"Oh come on now. Have one drink before you aid Lady Mahkay. It is best you do so now. She won't smell if off your breath nor would she even care." Boramere teased him a little. He shoved a mug of mead into the Dragon Knight's hands. Tioban looked at the contents of the mug. The mead looked tasty, and it smelled like a Hall's Brew of some Great Lord. Before taking a sip Tioban licked his lips in anticipation of drinking.

"Drink up Dragon Knight! You're gonna need it!" Black Kat said with a smirk on her face.

Obeying the pressure from fellow warriors the Dragon Knight took a big gulp of the mead. He tasted the yeast, and the honey as he guzzled it down. It was to get the drinking over with even if he received a buzz from it. Tioban finished the mead in three drinks just so they can leave alone. He felt a little bit of the effects before slamming the mug on the table and bidding the fellow warriors a farewell. All four of them laughed giving him praise, heckling him, and cheering him on. Tioban felt a little embarrassed as he left the booth to exit the Tavern. When he came to the door he dug into his coin purse and placed three Silver Dylings on the counter. The Dragon Knight exited the Tavern.

Outside he spotted Lady Mahkay, the princess, and their two swordsmen heading towards the stables. He decided to follow them since they had summoned him for a quest. One of the swordsmen looked over his shoulder. He spotted Tioban and beckoned for him to join them. Tioban rushed over to the small party at the stables. Both women were preparing to mount after they had changed into more comfortable clothing for riding. Their two swordsmen prepared their own steeds and mounts. Without a word Tioban went to his mount that had just eaten a hairy Fadet, a small creature that appeared more like a small person. Its little cap and shoes were on the hay while his steed chewed on the body.

"I see food found you Norsoth. That appetite of yours is never quenched." Tioban exclaimed as he prepared his mount for another journey. Norsoth snorted and gave a slight grow. He ignored this since that was his steed's way of showing its disapproval of going out again. This Dragon steed had the capacity to travel for days without yest. He prepared his mount and met his new party outside the stables.

None of them were surprised to see a Dragon Knight astride a Dragon like steed. They nodded in acceptance before allowing Lady Mahkay lead the way. She took them away from the Tavern and down a path that lead towards a bridge. From there they made it across to another hill to a longer trail. No words were spoken as they progressed through the landscape to a particular hill that had some ruins on top of it. Tioban looked over his shoulder to see how far they had come. On this world daylight hours were longer than it appeared. For thirty miles their steeds brought them to what appeared to be the destination. Tioban was under the impression they were going somewhere farther than this.

"Now listen Sir Knight my daughter's lover has been missing. His last whereabouts were said to be this location. We do not know what is inside those ruins nor do we know if he is still alive down there." Lady Mahkay informed him as she dismounted from her steed.

"I will aid you in this mission." Tioban pledged to the Black Lion's Wife. He knew is mission was to find some work and he had.

"Good, we will leave our steeds under the care of my daughter and her swordsmen as guards. You and I will go inside." Lady Mahkay said to the Dragon Knight.

Tioban dismounted grabbing both shield and his weapons. He took one good look at the ruins they were about to enter. From the looks of the ruins it was once a Wizard's old tower that had crumbled down with time. It must have been a few centuries since any heroes or adventurers came this way. He did not know the true origins of this tower yet the base gave away the style Wizard's often used. Tioban looked to Lady Mahkay who revealed herself to be a battle mage armed with a halberd she used as a staff or walking stick. Tioban followed her to the entrance. She flicked her wrist and flames shot out to illuminated some of the torches and places where there would be one. Each one entered the ruins ready to fight whatever they lay waiting inside.

"Are you sure it is wise to use fire magic ahead of us. It could warn the creatures inside and a monster could lay in ambush." Tioban warned the Battle Mage.

She gave him a look and went about her own business. With one arm up and halberd in hand Mahkay proceeded further inside this ruin of a tower. The Dragon Knight was given no other option than to cover her back. It was his new quest and it was likely she was going to pay him well for the job. His gaze went from side to side expecting something to attack them from the crevices and doorways along the walls. Mahkay checked each one as she passed a room and a crevice in the walls. What he didn't understand was why she never checked the ceilings.

Becoming the Spy

Everything was on the table and the pieces are set between the two superpowers of a world carved by empires. Among these empires were other factions forging, and smaller nations scattered all over the globe. Each one hanging on to their independence by any means necessary. It was essential to keep the strongest ones in the fight as much as possible. One of these enemies was a centuries old enemy that made alliances with various races, states, entire worlds, and organizations. Among their ranks were various humanoid creatures. Many of these humanoids were more like raiders, killers, slavers, rapists, arsonists, and some were a little on the cannibalistic side. Entire units of these mercenaries dedicated their work to just pillaging everything wherever they please and whomever.

What ever this planet's name was she did not recall at the moment. She looked at the factions that are involved in this current conflict. It was clear who their enemy was however it was unclear whom they should aid other than the smaller states surrounded by the larger empires. According to their reports the Amethorians have already made contact with one of the Factions who call themselves the V.U.V.R. abbreviation for Vestrisian Union of the Vestrisian Republics. Whatever deal they made with them it allowed these natives or locals to rebel the Nazdar and the other Empire for years. Agent Bemere Fabellson aka. Blue Love slipped out of her jumpsuit which was too tight for her features. Her race was an ancient one and allowed extended life and had acrobatic abilities. She had long sand blonde hair, tall in frame, curvy and a heart shaped face. Blue Love knew what her coworkers liked to ogle and she wish that part of her body wasn't noticeable. Yet she got away with throwing a punch or two.

"Blue Love." She heard her boss's voice from the flank. Bemere froze a little when she hear him. Sh straightened up and saluted.

"Yes sir." she responded ready for duty.

"Have you got everything ready?" He asked her walking over to the table with bags packed full of her equipment. She had two suitcases packed full of her personal belongings.

"Yes I have my surveillance equipment, listening devices, radio receivers, Recording Devices, my lock picking equipment just in case, and all the camcorders for this mission." Bemere said feeling proud of herself.

"Remember to wrap those up like gifts when you land on that platform in the south. From there you will head straight for the island nation of Ivodra. Their government is neutral in this conflict. Our race can easily blend in. Only you will have to cover your tattoos and strange birthmarks.....When you are there." Her Boss said walking over to pick up her luggage for her. Even though he was her Boss he still acted as a manservant in some ways. His hair was dyed blue, which made his ears stick out more. He wore the nicer version of their uniform that made him look more like a businessmen.

"Uh Director who is my contact?" she asked curiously as she picked up her bags. He led her to the pods where she was supposed to launch from.

"His name is Segon. He will meet you at the platform and load you onto to the submarine. The submarine will then take you to the island." the Director informed her before they came to the pod launching bay of the ship.

Without a word he motioned for Agent Blue Love to board the pod as he carefully helped her pack everything in. Once she was seated and buckled in he slammed the door. Everything around her hissed and sealed up as the pod prepared to launched from the ship. Bremere closed her eyes and waited for the pod to launch. In moments her pod launched with a popping sound followed by the rumbling and shaking. She felt herself get launched into space while on board this one person pod.
The entire time she had her eyes closed. She was not used to this type of transportation to another world. For nearly a few hours the pod went straight for this planet. She felt the pod shake even more as it entered the atmosphere. With her eyes closed she fumbled for the switch that would slow it down. These pods were designed to take any hard surface impact however she was not taking any chances. As soon as her hand found a lever she pulled on it hard nearly jerking it off the wall.

Her pod began to slow down thanks to the installed engines that were supposed to be the brakes for this type of landing. Bemere took a deep breath and took in more breaths as her pod slowly made its way to the surface. She held on to something as it made impact with something that felt more like water. Blue Love opened a hatch to find herself in the middle of the ocean and close to her was the platform she was supposed to land on. Now her spying days would begin on this planet.
