Vagi's Mission: Inside the First One

“Finally, a way inside! Now follow that Ogre and keep an eye out.” She ordered the team. Vagi followed this Ogre up the rampway with her team behind her. Expecting this Ogre to attack they had their weapons trained on him. Even Vagi drew the pistol she carried on her. She felt a little pressured by her own team’s actions. None of them could be certain this Ogre could be trusted. Keeping a safe distance, they managed to reach the door. Wide open for anyone the door was big enough for the Ogre. As the Ogre Magarth entered he announced his entry.

“Magarth is back, Magarth bring company! Friends Magarth come check on bunker of steel. Then Magarth go back to Overseer.” Magarth said in broken speech.

“Overseer Kasib already checked yesterday Magarth.” Another voice snapped at him.

“Sorry Sword Master Sumi, Magarth forgot about that. Our guests come, Magarth bring?” Magarth apologized while entering a hall that went to the center of a room. Vagi and her team entered the hall close behind him.

“Guests, what guests, Magarth the guests are already here! Now go back to the Overseer. Report we received no word from Karsos or his band. See if that vampire has not- wait those are not guests. Intruders, intruders!” a feline humanoid in card style armor peered behind the Ogre. It had a cat voice that was high pitched yet had a growl to it.

“Step aside you blind oaf!” this feline named Sumi demanded of Magarth. Magarth moved to a crevice in the metal wall. The Ogre blindly revealed each part to the other. A team of 14 Vestrisans against this Sword Master Sumi with 12 others under their command. Eleven wolf like humanoids and a monkey humanoid armed and dressed as a pirate.

“Wert you and your wolfmen raiders deal with them.” Sumi ordered them sending the pack after the Vestrisians. The monkey unsheathed its saber ready to cut someone up. All the wolfmen licked their fangs and brandished long claws on their hands. Vagi did not want to find out what these humanoids did to an enemy up close.

Vagi’s team opened fire on them. All twelve humanoids fell on the floor riddled in bullets. To the Vestrisians their mission got less difficult than it already was. Twelve less hostiles to deal with. Magarth came out quickly causing one of her men to shoot him dead. She made them stop in the hall to check on the Ogre. Sending the medic made her feel better about killing this Ogre. As the medic checked the Ogre two more faces peered from the end of the hall. Inside its interior this platform had a hollow interior save for levels and other rooms. One face was an elf fey with wings and the other some bird humanoid in priestly robes.

“You two don’t move!” Vagi heard herself yell at them. The elf fey froze in shock while the bird priest glared at her in response.

Moving fast they apprehended the pair of them. They arrest the eagle humanoid using wires. As for the winged elf all they had to do was to have her stay put. She soiled herself ruining a nice outfit. Vagi did not want this bystander to sit in her own filth. She turned to the priest. Whatever his name was she did not care right now. He wore another layer of robes over some clothing.

“Give her one of your robes!” Vagi demanded getting in the priest’s face.

“Very well skogers! Here Stargazer Raine.” The eagle priest was released so he can hand the robe over to the female. Stargazer took the robe from the priest.

“Thank you Priest Valenzie.” Stargazer said taking the robe from the priest. Valenzie found himself apprehended again by Vagi herself. This winged elf fey went behind them to change. When she came back Vagi told her to stay put. Not wanting to take any risks they apprehended her as well. It was only a precaution to ensure their security. Vagi turned on Valenzie once more.

“Priest how many are in this platform?” she demanded from the apprehended figure.

“There are more of us children of the Order of the Beast and the CSO.” He vaguely replied.

“Are there actually children or re you just talking like a religious priest?” she demanded.

“(sigh) Fine you elf slut aside from the thirteen you just shot up and the two of us, thirty-two more live here.” Valenzie fessed up to her. It looked as they had more to deal with. They would deal with them soon enough.

            “Tell me Valenzie-“

“Priest Valenzie!” He interrupted her. The bird humanoid received a slap across the beak.

“Priest Valenzie, where can we skogers find the Nurzak or do you even know what that is?” Vagi questioned the bird priest.

“Only the Cirsidae have this knowledge, Skoger.” Valenzie replied calmly. It was as though she did not even hit him.

She did not believe him. Vibes that he was lying to her face built up. Ignoring the pair she led her team to the first chamber-room. In the center a pit filled the middle of the room. Four people could walk around shoulder to shoulder. On the other side of the chamber stood two wide arch doorways. Looking up at the ceiling Vagi spotted the arch style ceiling. Hanging on the ceiling were some interesting decorations. Skulls, hands, trinkets, pieces of metal (cogs), and daggers hung like decorations. Something stirred out the corner of her left eye. She turned to see it was only a tapestry or clothing hanging over a doorway. Air flowed into the room causing it to move. Vagi checked it out with two others. An interior rampway in the walls acting like a staircase went up to a locked door.

Disappointed in this discovery Vagi went straight for Valenzie. Vagi had no time for games or religious sayings. Bent on getting information out she grabbed him. Not caring about his excuses, she made him check the door. It had been locked on the other side. Promising her would be left alone after this she made him lead them. Entering the other room, they found the set up for a lounge area. There were ramps leading up and one leading down. All those ramps lead to other rooms.

Valenzie had to back track to find a ramp leading to the next floor. Muh like the first room the other two rooms had pits in the center. One had a nice garden and the other was used for a fire pit. Vagi looked at the ceiling of this one. It had a vent for fire smoke to go out above the fire pit. On the walls of both were decorations. Head trophies, weapons, and Gantronese helmets lined the walls. Whoever these beings of the Beast Order or CSO were, they were no friends to the Gantronese either. Inside the room with the fire pit they found a ramp leading up to the next floor.

Ascending this ramp, they found a single chamber turned into a storage room for weapons. She counted to one hundred four crates, boxes, and containers before ascending the next level. Various Gantronese weapons rested on some weapons racks. The third level held ammunition for artillery and heavy weapons. Crates and containers lined the walls in stacks along with artillery rounds. One the fourth one ammunition for firearms sat in a similar layout as the one below. Passing this one she wondered how long the Gantronese resided here. Considering the number of decades, they stayed the Gantronese set up shop years ago. As for the humanoids who made this home she could not tell.

Searching this structure knowing how hostile these humanoids were made her uneasy. What made her feel better about this situation was being armed and having back up. Even with someone leading the way while bound did not deter any thoughts of being ambushed. On the fifth level they passed a mess hall with a large kitchen taking up most of the space. Floor numbers six and seven also had mess halls and kitchens. At the tables were various chairs and stools set up. When they got to the eighth-floor signs of recent use could be seen. Originally a lab this floor was converted into a workshop. Junk, metal, armor, helmets, and tools littered the room. Floors nine and ten held strange egg-shaped pods marked with red symbols. She was glad about one thing. All the lights were on to illuminate the way.

Taking a quick glance at this she allowed Valenzie to go on the eleventh alone. He did not notice he was alone until he heard chatter from behind. Verifying what those pods are meant for would turn out interesting, or perhaps horrifying. Catching up to Valenzie was not had at all. It was more of a breeze of a walk that did not take her breath. What took it way was the interior of the eleventh floor.

A three-story chamber with four balconies, two sets of ramps, and a silver chrome décor presented itself. For a moment she kept her eyes glued to the fabric chosen as décor. All over the floor lay cushions that covered a conversation pit. Statues, and coral lined the walls. All of this reminded her of an elf aristocrat’s daughter back home. Vagi did not remember her name, but she does not forget what a cunt she was. Memories of her were swept away as a lone figure appeared on a balcony.

“Val what is going on?” the figure asked as she looked down on them. At the third balcony stood a fox humanoid in a colorful robe over her dress tunic. Her hair and ears had an orange-red tinge. Bother her face and body appeared humanoid with beige skin tone.

“Guests and intruders Kyo, don’t leave that spot!” Valenzie warned that fox girl.

“What are they then, guests or intruders? Oh well would they like their fortress told or palms read?” This Kyo showed more curiosity mixed with excitement over the new arrivals.

Vagi wanted this Kyo to either come down or stay where she was. Kyo pursed her lips then puckered them back and forth repeatedly. Losing it on this fox girl would appear unprofessional. She about to speak when a pair of figures emerged from another room. Kyo shared a balcony with two others it seemed, a male and female. This male figure had an orcish hybrid with a long appendage that looked more like a long tendril from the back of his head. As for the female she had pinkish skin like the male who did not have hair, a nose, or ears like her. Both wore white loose clothes. Kyo noticed them approaching her.

“Ven, Egoya what have guests, wait what are you- oh, aaaahhhhh-“ Kyo was shoved off the balcony by her neighbors. She landed on the couch below. Vagi’s team opened fire on the pair in response. Eight more humanoids popped up, armed with crossbows and for some reason flintlock muskets. One of them got caught in the crossfire. All seven remaining sent a volley of projectiles. Their volley killed one of her team members, Seaman Bloodstride. Having modern weapons like the E-7 rifle. And submachine guns made a difference. Together they let loose a barrage of gunfire. She looked around the room finding Valenzie cowering behind a piece of coral.

“Collect Bloodstride’s body, I will get those two!” Vagi ordered the team. She marched up to the priest and cut him loose. The Lieutenant then made him pick up the unconscious Kyo who was just pushed off a balcony. Checking the female, she discovered she still breathed. Kyo had to be carried away. She did not want to leave an unconscious female here. Vagi did not trust whoever else was up there. Forcing Valenzie to carry Kyo she ordered a retreat. Right as they retreated a band of 52 various humanoids came after them.

With no other options than to run Vagi’s team fired into the oncoming band. Using up the last rounds in the clip her team ran off. Hit and run was all they could do to slow this enemy down. Some of them threw grenades before running. Descending back the way they came made oblivious to their surroundings Bent on getting out they raced down the rampways. Going down they had Bloodstride’s body, an unconscious Kyo, and Valenzie to carry her. She was certain this would slow them down. As they descended, she heard the pursuers closing in. While running she managed to snatch a grenade from a team member then tossed it. Vagi almost froze when she saw their hunters. Two of her own men fired pistols at them causing the hunters to throw four figures in the line of fire. A quick glance she spotted an elf, mage, an old wizard, and two slower mutants. The grenade blast and gunfire took their lives.

Vagi did not look again to see if any more were shot or caught in the blast. All she cared about was getting out of this place. An energy blast shot at them hitting the walls. The only way to avoid that was by running. Another grenade was thrown. It was a smoke grenade to blind them. It allowed the team to race out of the platform. Running out they came across their privateer allies who found Stargazer.

“Shoot anything that comes out!” Vagiheard herself scream as the adrenaline gripped her. She got behind the pirates who formed ranks just like line infantry.

In moments, their pursuers poured out roaring and screaming. Then ran right into firing lane of the privateers who showed no hesitation. Every single one were gunned down as they descended the ramp. Getting a taste of her allies resulted in death for these pursuers as they collapsed on the sand at the edge of their base or fort of some kind. Even Valenzie was shot in the side of the head when the last pursuer fell. Vagi thought it was best to kill the bird priest as he probably set them up with a lie.

            “Check the bodies.” She commanded.

Exhausted, full of adrenaline could be words she can describe herself. Her team looked more distraught over the loss of Bloodstride. Knowing they did not want to venture back in Vagi sent them back to the boat. The whole team head to the boat with the comrade’s corpses. Kisha remained at her side. Vagi sent Kisha to the privateers to find a place for Kyo. The female Oni went off with the unconscious Kyo in her arms. She took this time alone to find some version of a bathroom or hose they can use to clean off with. After searching the settlement, she found a building with a few showers. Checking the walls, she found the valves to get the water going. At the showers she found a footlocker trunk unopened. She forced it open to find some type of fabric she could use as a towel. Underneath she found fatigues. Satisfied with this find Vagi undressed herself to clean up. She stepped under the shower and turned the valve. Water poured all over her from the shower head.

Droplets peppered her body with a soothing effect. All the water did was wash away dirt, sand, salt water and small amounts of muck. The scares, scars and tragic loss had to be tucked away. Naphene needed to pull herself together for tomorrow. Running her fingers through her hair hoping she can hold out for the rest of this mission. Vagi wanted to get in touch with Kezef and Weatherby. Taking a deep breath, she prepared to end her session in the shower.

Out of nowhere a silver-gray humanoid pounced on her. Grabbing her by the buttocks and legs it spread her legs. Taken by full surprise Vagi let her guard down. Six arms grappled her then pulled her in. Shoving itself inside her it began to thrust. Having it inside her triggered emotions and captivating pleasure. Whatever it was it showed no signs of slowing or stopping. Pushing her against the wall it pounded her ferociously. It placed its own metallic faceless head between her large breasts. She felt her girls on its shoulders bouncing up and down in rhythm of the thrusting. All six hands groped and fondled every inch of Vagi. Without warning I maneuvered into a doggy style position on the shower floor. The water still went on. Vagi allowed her to make her its buddy and have its way until it was done. On all fours she took the thrusts as a punishment. Someone else entered the facility. Whoever it was they charged after them with a battle cry. Tackling Vagi’s attacker was Kisha beat the shit out of it. The Oni did not stop even when she heard bones being broken and the crunching sounds that followed.

Vagi knew she could not stop Kisha from performing her duty. She got up to dry off while listening to Kishas fists pound the silver gray multi limbed mutant. Once she was dry enough, she put on the fatigues intent on cleaning her apparel. Vagi searched for her team and found them at the landing zones. A supply boat that followed fleets unloaded a total of 21 Vestrisians, 16 Ruhonthrans, and 12 other volunteers from other nations. She felt some relief at the sight of some reinforcements. While her team gathered their own gear she spotted officers speaking with Seawind. Nathane pointed towards the team. She went towards them in the fatigues hoping no one noticed. As dusk approached all warriors, they encountered said farewell to the rider, the rider, the servant, and one elf they must have missed. She spotted her team placing Bloodstride in a body bag. Vagi rushed over to the team. As an officer she was to see the corpse given a flag. Like any Captain would she wrapped the body bag with a VUVR flag. Saying farewell was not easy, but she had to hold it in. She did not see it, but she could tell the rest teared up when they saluted in farewell.

“Are you Lieutenant Vagi?” she heard someone ask her. It was when she was about to lose it.

“Yes!” she replied holding back tears over a fallen countryman.

“Sorry to cut the grieving short. I am Captain Stephane Cailor of the VAVR’s elites.” The person introduced himself to Vagi. She got a good look at him. A tall Estati Male in the new combat uniform that allowed soldiers to blend in. Stephane looked to be 34 years old, young for most Estati’s she met. Yet he could be much older considering his heritage.

“They will need some rest.” She informed Cailor.

“Are you here to reinforce us?” She asked this Captain Cailor.

“Captain Folmer Perzana of Ruhonthra will take charge of any ground forces defending these islands. I am here to assist you in your mission.” Cailor explained to Vagi.

“Do you think you can handle a mage?” She questioned him putting a fist on her hip.

“Yes, I am a Zhenrai Knight of the Ezonel Temple University. Kezef was told about the incidents that happened on some of the islands just yesterday. Therefore, he sent for me.” Cailor showed the Lieutenant a medallion depicting a shield and crossed blades. Her eyes widened in shock then turned back to normal remembering her mission.

“We will see you in the morning Captain.” Vagi said joining her team. The eleven Vestrisians took their gear and hers to an unoccupied building. Able to set up a place to stay was easy. Lights worked, and they found an underground level meant for living quarters. Kisha found the building carrying Vagi’s clothes. She hand washed them herself for the Lieutenant.

The following morning the search team under Vagi woke to gunfire. Forced out of bed her team prepared for the day. After a quick meal they filed out of the building. Checking with Captain Perzanna Vagi ensured only her team could go in until it was searched and cleared. The Ruhonthran did not let her go without handing her a radio. She then went in search of Captain Cailor. With her team following behind she found the Zhenrai outside his own small house that he claimed. Vagi envied Cailor for getting a place of his own. Next to this house was the captain Cailor meditating. Using whatever powers Zhenrai possessed he made several objects levitate. Two daggers, a long knife, knuckle buster she saw on soldiers and marines levitated around him. Spinning in a circle above him were sixteen pins, badges, and medals from enemy officers. Aside from all the small melee weapons he had a cudgel, and a messer sword.

“Good morning Captain Cailor. Are you ready to clear that platform?” she asked Cailor who came out of his meditation.

Every object that he had levitating dropped to the ground. Cailor put away all the items. E got up, brushed off any sand that got on him. Without a word he handed an empty bowl to the doorway behind him. A pair of hands grabbed the bowl, taking it from him. The Zhenrai stretched a little. He took out a small bag of chewing gum. It was the pale lime green kind called “Merry Bark”. Ripping a piece off he offered the team some. One at a time they took a piece from him.

“I am ready Lieutenant.” Cailor said marching ahead of them. Vagi’s team followed him.

Feeling more comfortable having a Zhenrai on their side they went over to the next island. She may be an elf yet that did not mean squat against mages. Although Calorn’s technology rapidly changed and evolved they still saw the likes of witches, wizards, mages, and such. Vagi knew they were still around. Being the age of 62 she was still considered young. All her life in the city and islands vagi only heard stories. Her first encounter was just a year before signing up to join the navy. She had a gang of bank robbers cornered with eight others. As clear as day she remembered coming across a one-sided skirmish between the gang and an elf warlock from Arqolith. Whoever he was he fried the whole gang and incinerated a cop. Vagi quickly shook that memory away as they came to the bridge.

Up ahead the platform remained as it did yesterday. They left all the clean up the pirates who seemed happy with spoils from their looting. Out of respect for the dead these pirates lined them up for burial. Coming closer she heard Kisha mutter who it was and how many. There lay before them five Orcs, three Ogres, five axe bearers, one female ghoul on drugs, a demonoid with wings, four reptilians, four goblinoids, two zombrites, four archers, a winged reptilian demon, and insectoid called a Zirnolid elite. A half spider half humanoid in chains was some drider. Two beastmen, one young knight, a frogloid, two beaked humanoids, some humanoid with tendrils, a Tissar spearman, and a tall Troglodyte. Each one of these humanoids were buried as they passed by.

Looking up at the tall platform Vagi spotted open winders and some vines hanging from a few of them. She did not desire to go back in there, but she had to. Other than check who was missing among their pursuers they went inside. Memory of this place appeared better than coming inside for the first time. Vagi felt more confident as they progressed to the 11th level with no encounters. All they came across were bullet holes, debris, blood, and some pieces of flesh. Back on the 11th floor they discovered a few statues were broken, holes, dotted the floor, balconies, and walls. Although this portion took up three floors they still considered this one level. Checking those floors and rooms they found no one else but the corpses of the ones they shot yesterday. Not looking forward to any future encounters they proceeded to the fourteenth level.

Ammunition, two skeleton reptiles for décor and one large cannon occupied his space. The cannon looked over the sea through an adjustable window facing north. It stretched across the wall with rotatable mechanism to maneuver the cannon. Only they the Vestrisians, were on this floor. Wolfgust, Snowbane, Reemuse, Nicklebone, Tunar, Regalspire, Wolfring, Bonewind, Wildhand, Darek, and Grayblade snooped around. Cailor suggested the rest of them stay put while three of them go ahead. Grayblade did not like this idea. He was about to protest more when an argument began on the floor above them.

“You counterattack did nothing, Fazio!” a voice yelled at someone.

“This is no time to argue Thizotl! All you do is use your arcane powers to grow useless plants! Bah!” Faizo stated to the Thizotl figure.

“How do we get them skogers off our turf now?” another voice loudly projected. This voice sounded dry, yet gurgle like it needed water.

“Unless the Overseer sends a band or two we cannot do that!” the arcane argued.

“What? We are not waiting for that spiderling! We have 151 capable fighters.” Faizo snapped. “Boys go down and say hello!”

Ten figures charged down the ramp. A pair of goblins, a small Ogre, a dwarf ranger, and six reptilian bird humanoids armed with spears, axes, and a warclub ran into the Vestrisian’s line of fire. Cailor stayed back to watch Vagi’s team eliminate Faizo’s fighters. Her team waited for more to come down. All they got were the words of an ensuing argument.

“That is ten less fighters Faizo!” Would you like to throw yourself down there?” Thizotl mocked Faizo.

“Actually fifteen easy honeys are pregnant. So fighting is a no for them.” The other voice mentioned.

“No, you lie frogface! Dhysienne is not pregnant!” Thizotl barked at them in denial.

“I fucked her myself you manless arcane daisy!” they both mocked him.

“So did I such a submissive one she is.” Faizo mocked him as well.

“What will you do now-.” both tried mocking again only to be cut off. Sounds of struggling and strangling emerged followed by chocking.

Cailor took out a bottle of whiskey. He opened the bottle then took out a piece of cloth out of his pocket. He stuffed it in the bottle. Taking out a lighter Cailor lit cloth on fire. He rushed up the ramp. Vagi followed him with her team behind them up to witness the Zhenrai toss a Molotov into the room above them. She passed him as he stood ready to cut something apart. As she looked to her right she saw two figures grappled in vines. They were even chocked to death by these vines, which were set on fire by Cailor. The master arcane of the vines poised to attack when she opened fire on him. Floor number fifteen was now clear. Now it was on to the sixteenth floor. Standing guard was a goblin mutant that was killed by Cailor hands. This goblin guarded a floor of individual living quarters. Three rooms and three other pods next to each door. There was no time to check the rooms. Four teammates got left behind here to stand watch. Getting up to the 16th  floor they also ran into a forest Nymph occupying one of the rooms with a pet tiger. Her name was Paleive and her tiger, Kimba. Cailor sent them to the bottom of this structure. Hearing no one else was there they proceeded to the 17th floor. On the 17th floor a draconic winged humanoid lunged at them only to be shot up.

Passing through this one they came to the 18th floor where an elf Druid was imprisoned. Outside the second room of four they were in a cage which Kisha busted open. On to the 19th floor Vagi’s team discovered that floor 19 was made into a barracks for 25 elf bowmen. Each elf appeared to be from another world. One of them, a white bleach haired, yellow skinned leader greeted them with respect. Fashioned in loose green cloaks over sand colored uniforms these elves wore a sickle shaped brooch.

“Greetings Calornese natives, I am Pack Leader-Warden Savos Eagolspire. We are 25 space bowmen, you can say. Our true unit name is Sentinels of Orange Gelin. To these mutants, monsters, abominations and strange humanoids we are space elf Skogers. Since the CSO and the Order of the Beast have abused our people. We are joining your side of this conflict. Go on we won’t stop you, but there is a ravenous leech monster on floor 20.”

“Thank you for joining us.” Vagi said to him. Her team pressed on their way to floor twenty. On this floor lay the ravenous leech monster Savos warned them about. Blocking the way to the rest of the floor this monster just ate something whole. Taking no time Cailor killed it. Vagi saw two ways to floor 21. At the end of the hall of seven rooms lay a rampway. Splitting the team up she led five and Cailor led the rest of the team down the hall. Heading up to floor 21 they ran into a closed-up room that made for a study. Looking around Vagi spotted three other rooms, the ramp, and a few couches around a table. One of the couches was occupied by a female winged elf smoking a cigar.  She did not face their direction, but faced a cauldron sized pot. As she smoked another puff she spoke to them.

“I knew you were heading up here. Well Zemum will deal with you.” She snapped her fingers. The large plant rustled and came alive. Limbs formed revealing the plant to be a Golem hiding in plain sight. Before anyone could respond another bottle of flammable booze flew at the Golem. The bottle smashed above it dosing the golem in alcohol. Some force yanked the Cigar from the elf and went after Zemum.. Bursting into flames the Golem screamed and ran a muck while on fire. Flames consumed it ending its life. With her pet plant burned to ashes on the floor the elf surrendered. Vagi had her apprehended before checking the other rooms. Her team found nothing in those rooms. She left two team members to watch the prisoner.

Thanks to the prisoner they knew how many more floors held occupants. On floor 22 they found a Lizardman archer seated at a table. He was preparing his bow. Behind the archer were four rooms. When the Lizard looked up he smiled at them.

“Waiting for you at this very spot, Jiknar was. Just go on to the next one. Jiknar can watch over Celeste Sourdale. Go, Go half elf assassin Ty or Tyrovar waits to ambush. Ty wants another Oni kill to brag about.” Jiknar offered to be conscripted while selling someone else out.

“Go on ahead that assassin is mine!” Kisha fulminated without warning. The female Oni bodyguard stormed up the ramp. All they heard was grunting, roaring, a very feminine scream cut short, and sounds of someone getting beaten to the floor.

Vagi’s team went up the ramp. They found Kisha had pummeled the half elf assassin to death. She searched the rooms on this floor. The Oni’s anger told them to leave her alone. Passing through floor 23 they came to the 24 the floor. Here they were greeted and welcomed by a hairy blacksmith. Floor 24 was converted into his shop and home. For a companion he had a rat as big as a pig.

“Let me take care of the cultist upstairs. Ha ha, ho ho ha ha, you stay put Paige.” He belched and laughed. This blacksmith picked up a straight peen hammer and proceeded to the next level.

“Oi, Vaile come here. No just want to show yah something.” The blacksmith’s voice trailed down. They heard struggling then the sound of a body hitting the floor. Let with the pet rat they were not sure if their new ally survived until her came down.

“The way is clear, go up. Vail set a nice ambush for you. Bardo the blacksmith at yer service.”

“Um, thank you.” Vagi replied then led her team up to floors 26 and 27. A trio of green skinned warriors and raiders attacked them. All three died to bullets. Ten thrall warriors under control of Kasib attacked them on floor 27. After the thralls yelled “For Kasib” Vagi’s team took them out. Going up to floor 28 they found six dire rats killed and cooked in a kitchen. Not sure what to do or make of this they went on up to floor 29.

On floor 29 they found a level turned into a museum and exhibition. Six skulls of large reptiles, a small poisonous dragon in a cage, a caged giant king snake, a dire grumping big mouther in a glass tank, a small dragon on a leash, and an animal statue filled the floor. From behind the sorry looking fish tank an orange skinned female with spots emerged showing signs she was in a drug like state. This drugged female growled and attacked them. Vagi shot her five times dropping the druggie. She scanned the level finding a hall past these exhibitions.

In this hall she spotted a toad stuck between the walls. Vagi approached it only to receive a tongue to the face. This toad shot its tongue again hitting her once more. It licked its lips and shot it tongue a third time. It went after the caged dragon. She watched it pull the dragon into its large mouth. As it tried swallowing the dragon this toad chocked while its meal injected venom on the inside. Not sure about this level they went on to level 30. A quartet of female assassins who called themselves Crimson Quartet were found. Due to their force and four just now waking up no shots were fired. All four gave in to the Vestrisians. Vagi had them apprehended and sent down with some members of their team. Reducing the size of their forces they progressed to floor 31 where they found a tattooed monk and a pair of ninjas. This monk appeared to be a wandering martial artist named Yao Sagn who cooperated with them. He took out the pair of ninjas for them. Yao joined them up to floor 32 where a trio of night warriors stood watch. One of them was shot forcing the other two to capitulate.

Onto floor 33 they found three heroes Kasib’s army captured some time ago. As prisoners they would be dragged around for entertainment. Vagi got their names as Misty Jackal, The Galactic Crane, and Clever Shield. Yao chose to stay and help the heroes. Floor 34 was where they discovered a snake charmer whose reptile suffocated a gray Ogre. On the floor lay some Wretched ghoul crushed by the Ogre according to the snake charmer. This female beckoned for them to keep going up.

With just seven members of their team Vagi made it up to floor 35. Here two robed figures nervously watched some screens that depicted their forces. Around them were terminals, and control panels for this structure. One terminal panel was missing. Oblivious to their presence the figures, a wizard, and an 8ft tall blue being checked camera recordings. They stopped at a recording of Vagi and zoomed in. The wizard commented on how her melons looked tasty. She grabbed a rifle from a team member and shot the ceiling.

“Ahem, gentlemen are you with this Overseer Kasib?” She demanded.

“Hold your fire sweet ums, we are just guests!” the wizard cried out.

            “Names.” She demanded.

“I am Court Wizard Harab Eonin the fondler, I mean, will squeeze, no Harab the Collective. How may I please a pair such as yours? Oh no I am dead.” Harab asked Vagi.

She walked up to the wizard and punched him in the nose. Vagi wanted to shoot him. The Lieutenant chose not to. Succumbing to anger was not professional, however she hated that. Vagi turned to the blue skinned being who held up his hands with a nervous grin.

“Just a guest of Kasib. Demetrius-“ he was cut off by Vagi arresting him.

“Leave these guests here and move on to the next floor.” Vagi ordered the team. Taking her team to floor 36 she came to a remarkably similar set up. Occupying the room were four-winged fays. Each one wore metal colars. A high voice came through speakers.

“Ladies kill the intruders. Our spawns must live!” the voice sort of yelled into the microphone. All four fays darted for the Vestrisians who unloaded their last rounds on them. Eager to get up the last floors Vagi blindly rushed up to level 37. In her path sat a large yellow black spotted frog. This frog made a ribit noise then hopped on her knocking her to the floor. It hopped off letting out a second ribit.

“Come and enter, no one is hostile up here.” A female voice called from the doorway.

Getting up Vagi entered a large room of windows, couches, armchairs, cushions, rugs, and luxury. A total of fifteen female monsters, demons, and space elves with all the desired features. Each one were nude revealing a pregnant belly. Vagi blinked a few times bewildered at the sight. Were all fifteen of these women pregnant? Cailor flirted with one of them kissing her on the hand. Vagi rolled her eyes at him. She went on to the top. On top she found several structures on the roof of this citadel-platform. It appeared even more like a platform that can be used as a landing pad for aircraft. She moved around to the edges and circled it. Vagi spotted the Arm of Ruined Souls, eyed the other two platforms, and spotted five more far behind some islands. Three platforms appeared shorter than thirty and twenty stories. She focused on these three when Cailor called for her. Vagi’s presence was requested.
