"Eva, Eva, Princess Eva hey! Princess Eva over here, I'm over here!" yelled a cheery young hero from the Southern Atlantean Peninsula of Farys.
"I'll be right there in a moment!" Eva Arrow snapped at him from across the balcony that was over the first steps that brought you into Luka City, Atlantis. It was a city that matched the very description of a fictional city from some video game. She adjusted the chest piece that her lover, Mockshah the Pirate gave to her after the battle for Lost Gerisha.
"Eva, what is taking so long?" she heard another voice holler from the other side where the Great Captain and two other heroes selected by the Atlantean Defense.
"I'll be right there hold your horses! Is the team ready?" She yelled back.
"Yes!" she heard four voices holler back at her. Eva Arrow closed her eyes in frustration. If they had summoned Mockshah or anyone else from his branch of the IGA they would not have to rely on weak heroes. In here heroine outfit and armor Eva marched up to the team of heroes and heroines whose chosen alias were fitting. All of them were born on Atlantis like she was. However she was born within the royal family, a relative of their ruling family. Whereas they were born in noble houses, military households, and the aristocracy of the mighty empire. Atlantis somehow resembled a world she resided in for most of her life until she graduated from a college there.
"Okay listen up Great Captain, Lilly the Bronze, Circuit Wave, and Dark Jaguar, we need to work as a team. I have heard of your arguments and the Commissioners are not pleased. Stop arguing and work together. Since I am Princess that leaves me in charge. Search the abandoned streets of Luka for the villain Mapiok the Sewer Master and his groups of cronies." Eva explained to the four other heroes who were her team.
"What about this Mockshah character?" Lilly demanded putting her fists on her hips. She appeared more like a bronze butterfly humanoid with tiny wings.
"No our mission is to seek out the Sewer Master not that Pirate who keeps evading the authorities every time someone reports seeing him." Dark Jaguar said looking over at the stairs. His outfit fit the name of the hero with a visor in place of the jaguar's face.
Circuit Wave looked around in the outfit that was more like battle armor coated a violet color. This Atlantean Hero had nothing to say, which made it easier for Eva to urge her team forward. For an hour the team of five heroes went through the city that had crowds of people wandering around. In most of the streets they found crowds of people going about their own lives, and shouting their names. For a few minutes it drew attention to them forcing them to stop several times. Each time Eva had to put on her big smile for everyone and the TV camera crews. This happened to them three times in a row and every time she caught a glimpse of Mockshah with that handsome face and stubble. There were times she saw him with a full beard other times just a few weeks in.
"Finally we are out of those streets and away from adoring fans." she scowled more angry than ever over crowds of people blocking their path just for an autograph. "Where are we now?"
"It looks like a street renamed "Eyesonyourgoodies." Dark Jaguar read aloud to the team. For a few moments they let the words sink in. It meant something crude Eva knew it she covered her bottom and her chest looking around for any eyes in the broken windows. They stepped further into the neighborhood.
"We need to-" Eva's words were cut off by a bunch of movement in the alleys, and behind piles of rubble. Approximately Fifty Seven spiky haired and black clothed goons appeared before them. It was a group of Mapiok's cronies known as the the Pink Spikes. This looked more like something you would see in a cartoon. Yet here they stood clad in black and pink spiked hair like porcupine. Eva and her four team members prepared for a fight that was eminent. No one would be able to get out a fight against the Pink Spikes even if they had a gun or came here by mistake. This was their turf. It was not even a moment's notice before the Pink Spikes pounced on their target. Five heroes of Atlantis were plunged into a fight. Using their martial art skills, electric powers, and sword they combated the Pink Spikes. Eva kicked one down then punched another in the gut. She twirled around letting her leg hit one in the chin. Like a master she bent an arm, pushed one into another. Her other team members did well like she did forcing the Pink Spikes to withdraw their first attack. Twenty-six lay on the ground wounded, and knocked out. Her team did a pose before things got grizzly.
Another group of goons came out of the buildings, the Dust Orcs who covered themselves in the powder debris from stones and the streets. This group either fought alongside the Pink Pikes or fought them in a turf war that would reach the other parts of Luka City. Despite this authorities deemed them a non-threat to the city until recently. Something had united them along with a few other gangs. She looked at more than a hundred opponents. Eva was not sure if her team could handle this many. All four of them had fear in their eyes as if they themselves were rookies just starting out on the first day of being a hero.
