The Yackdreth

Calorn is home to uncountable species in terms of beasts, animals, and life forms. One species in particular is quite interesting on this planet. Among the various native races it is called the Yackdreth. A large furry, long-haired, robust creature that has curly horns like a ram, or other hoofed mammal. Yackdreth also contain a beak no different than a predatory bird. Their eyes resemble a deer's eyes. Depending on where you are Yackdreth are either domesticated inside farms, ranches or roam in herds within vast fields. Don't be fooled by the appearance of this creature it is more mammal than strange beast that came from the depths of the underworld. It is no spawn of unnatural creation or science either. Yackdreth can be friendly according to how long they had been broken and domesticated. Wild ones are not so friendly when one trespasses into its grazing ground or too close to its calf. Uxane tribes, and other human factions or nations are known to domesticate or hunt these large beasts. Yackdreth herds, and domestics can be found in the fields of Naatidra, New Vattorum, North Western portions of Castaria, Blackmell Mountains, all over Bisdolan and Nevoran tundra plains past the mountain range north of New Vattorum. Those are not the only areas Yackdreth can be found among the usual wildlife. From Muskalla across Vimasdra, Ossus, Northern Gontrella, parts of Vodwania to the edges of Arqolith (Argolith), the end of Kharmala, and southern Orian.
