All she wanted was some peace and quiet inside the Explorer's Outpost. He knew that, but could not help it. This Explorer's Outpost was built on an island that was big enough to hold a small village. Four towering natural stone pillars surrounded the outpost providing some sense of protection. A team of seven explorers and scientists from the University of Daggerfall and their former Orc Professor set up a few outposts on the islands of Yokuda. An Altmer, Bosmer, Imperial, Nord, Dunmer, Redguard, and Breton sat in the outpost. The Dunmer Sarna Mathvion tried reading through one of the Dragorn's Text about adventuring while the Bosmer Gloodal Acornpool slurped his coffee. Each time he took a sip it transformed into a loud slurp. Every time she would throw a pen at him. She brought a full bag of them too. Outside was their Altmer team member on the phone with the professor. Her name was Vallia Camoran who was a scholar, archaeologist enthusiast, and a bookseller who tried to shake the very history of her surname. Their Redguard, Kerma was a fighter, and health fitness student who always heckled them to exercise. Her martial arts flowed through her body since she was just a toddler. She was busy flirting with the Big Nord, Ternolf Autumn-Legs, the muscle of the group, beast handler, climber, and adventurer of the team. Berynn Chare the team's Breton acted as the scribe, and tech personnel. Her task was to record every find, and activity that went on aside from their usual shenanigans. The Male Imperial Velanius Tullius who kept his interest in history to himself concerning the past and what had occurred aside from the usual crisis.
Yokuda at this age of technology was being explored and mapped out with better technology. Former home land of the Redguard, Lefthanded Elves, and other races. This area was once a massive continent before it sunk into the sea. Now a bunch of islands, Yokuda sits as an ancient, mysterious, and lost civilization. Kerma's father proved more reliable than Kerma who was more into the martial arts. He provided books on Yokuda, and the culture the Redguard still practiced. On the sea of Pearls the team felt eager to explore each island within a span of a two year expedition they started a month ago. Yokuda's islands were known as Akos Kazas, Samara, Kanesh, and Yath. To each one it was exciting to be south of the Azwarian Ocean, north of the Eltheric Ocean, and west of the Abeccan Sea. They were also west of Tamerial, their homes, and families. As a team they felt honored to be the first ones to explore this continent after one thousand years since the last great explorer.
Little was known about the current inhabitants inside their minds. Sarna could not help but gaze out the window pondering over Tamriel's history. From the Oblivion Gate Crisis to the return of Dragons in Skyrim. The eruption of the Red Mountain in Vvardenfell, Morrowind her ancestor's homeland. In her hands was a text written in honor of the Dragonborn's exploits. She also had a book about the Hero of Kvatch, and how they ended the Oblivion Crisis. As a young Dunmer she shuddered at the thought of facing the Daedra inside a strange plane. Even the events of Daggerfall, and that colossus destroying much of the continent before it was defeated frightened her. Although many of the monsters such as trolls, goblins, wild animals, and other monsters of Tamriel still existed she was relieved to live in the sixth age and not in the earlier age.
One class they had taken together or lecture at a Tavern over Ale and wine dug into Tamriel's Past. The Aldmeri Dominion putting the Empire on its heals, the Stormcloak rebellion, and the situation in Morrowind before the Red Mountain's eruption. As a Dunmer Sarna had somewhat of a reputation to keep since her family hailed from the city of Vivec. Mostly in the House of Hlaalu Sarna's family kept their ties discretely towards the ancient houses of Morrowind. Dagoth Ur entered her mind with all of his followers, dreamers, Ash Ghouls, descendants or spawn, and that blight. Corprus Disease plagued Morrowind due to the ashstorms that spread like the Blight did. She did not know how many suffered the infection. In one of her cousin's homes she did learn how the Nerevarine contracted such a disease and went looking for a cure. All the heroes, and heroines drew their curiosity of the world. Stories and accounts of these adventures drew them towards the study of these mysterious Daedra Princes who were once worshiped en mass then by secretive cults or followers. Next to her was a gold statue of Dibella found on an island in Solstheim. From the research on the statue they also came across the Star of Azura, and Sheogorath. In every story about the great heroes of the past they read about Dwemer ruins, Aeylid cities, Nord Ruins, and the ancient tombs all over the continents the daedra appeared. Eternal Champion, Septim's Agent, Nerevarine, Hero of Kvatch, Champion of Cyrodiil, the Last Dragonborn, and Cyrus inspired many adventurers of the past to seek greatness. Most of these figures made the history books. Now it was their turn.
