The sun shone brightly
In the clear blue skies
Absent, the clouds were not there
The wind blew slightly
Several planes flew in the air
Nature seemed pleased with the pilots
Freely, geese flew over the lake
Like geese the planes were
Flying in formation
Together in a squad
Not a danger above or below
Nature was at peace with aviators
Enemy nor storm came
To rip them from flight
Dazzling was the green below
Trees waved at the flyers
Pilots soared above
Enjoying the view
Nature was at peace with itself and
all
The geese hovered above
circling the lake
Racing about the skies
The wind halted
Trees fell silently still
Pilots landed on the grass
Blades of green gave safe landing
Softly, feet touched gentle green
blades
Wind blew around relaxing airmen
A calm breeze slid across faces
The feeling soothing to them
Rain or not they did not care
The wind was pleasant
Birds sang them melody
That put them to sleep
Clouds hovered above
The sun slipped through puffballs
Like sheets clouds covered the sun
Around them trees blew
To welcome the airmen
