Attacking now would be stupid as it would only incite the escort ships and draw in more warships. From the Command Bridge of his flag ship the Pirate Warlord waited for the fleet of Nazdar ships get into position. Intercepting this fleet was key in halting the invasion of two moons of this one planet. He hoped this interception would sway the Nazdar and their allies from sending a second wave. With an armada of 2,330 ships of various class and sizes the Sultan of Pirates watched 267 large vessels come to a halt. It made the other 24,667 warships, frigates, battleships, and smaller fighter craft halt. All this Sultan of Pirates needed was for the convoy to stop. Yes he was outnumbered, yes these invaders had another fleet somewhere behind them. What he had was another armada of droid star fighter squadrons to pave the way for the main targets. On his main ships the frigates and cruisers his armada of corsairs had ion cannons installed. At the command bridge of his third flag ship the Sultan gave the signal to unleash the armada of droids.

Gredaro Leaves
Gredaro had to act fast and move. If he stayed here in Oramatra he would likely be killed or captured. His pupil would die, his maids would be sold to the slavers in these parts of the Unknown Lands. Knowing the Vestrisian policy against slavery none of the slavers here would live to see next week. At the tower's doorway he witnessed the skirmish turn into a battle as more Gantronese appeared. Several shots missed him by a few feet. Gredaro threw a few fireballs at the Gantronese. He noticed all the Vestrisians were making the best efforts to avoid any collateral damage. Fytbak the Goblin came to his side when he spotted the Vestrisians race past them. Among the Vestrisian Expeditionary Troops Gredaro saw Borvadosee, Morgadrans, Kaniimans, Badraans, and plenty of half elves. Using their modern weapons such as TM 13 rifles, machine guns, and lever action rifles they triumphed in the onslaught that ensued.
Gantronese troops fell like flies as they exposed themselves in the open. They lost numbers and ground, which forced them to retreat. Seeing the Gantronese pull back in retreat made the wizard smile. A platoon of Vestrisians stopped near him to shoot at the retreating Gantronese to further reduce their defending forces. Nineteen more Gantronese fell dead while the survivors disappeared in the darkness.
"Ceasefire, ceasefire!" A Kaniiman commander yelled in the dark.
Every Vestrisian in the platoon stopped shooting. Ahead of them were other Vestrisians who also ceased firing at the retreating enemy. A mass chorus of "Ura, ura, ura, ura!" filled the air as the Vestrisians gave out their war cry. When they stopped several kept a watchful eye while the rest returned back to their units. To him this a perfect time to see what was going on. Gredaro walked over to one of the Vestrisians. At a closer glance he could tell the Vestrisians did not have one ethnic group that made up its ranks. This Vestrisian Union had many peoples united against the invaders.
"Excuse me Vestrisian, is it safe to get my family out?" He asked a Vestrisian who looked like a Badraan human. Aside from the dark complexion Badraans wore a a robe tunic tied to the belt. This Badraani wore it over the uniform like a sash-poncho.
"Yes it is safe, for now old man." the soldier said to Gredaro not even looking at the Wizard. The Wizard realized in their culture Badraani only faced the people knew while talking to them. As for the military reasons such customs had to be discarded. When it came to civilians those restrictions loosened when the Commander was not there. This was not the first time he saw Badraani or other Vestrisians come together like this.
"Private Choge Mimoani there is no socializing with the locals." a female barked out from behind them.
"Yes Major Cunnoris. I will attend to my duties." Mimoani replied standing stiff as a board when the commander came up.
"Good Private now see what you can find on the Gantronese bodies. Help the res collect our dead." the Major ordered.
"Major Wolka Cunnoris VAVR Expeditionary Forces. At first I expected you to attack us. Multiple locals aided the Gantronese back there. Now I see how you feel about the invaders. Who are you?" This female Major introduced herself to the strife wizard.
"Gredaro the Master Arcane Gairne. There are no more then eight others within my order of arcane and spell casting." Gredaro answered Major Cunnoris.
"Nice to make you acquaintance Master Gredaro. Upon landing south of Oramatra my unit passed a nice five story jungle house-manor." Wolka replied to him.
"Does it have a sign that reads A SMILE IS THE QUICKEST WAY TO BRIGHTEN A ROOM, and another that reads, Illusion allows victory?" Gredaro asked Wolka.
"As a matter of fact yes. Yes there are signs that read those words. There are others like that." she said keeping the Wizard's attention. He thought for a moment of who that was.
"Ah yes Ubelle the Bewildering Sage. She is a Mage who also became sort of a Sage. That building is a school for all girls. Where I teach is the area of all arcane magic. She is more on the lines of illusion, alchemy, alteration, and mysticism. There are other forms she teaches. Inside that showboating Mage's School are fourteen young pupils. Each one learns a set of three styles or all four. Some only learn two of those successfully." Gredaro explained to the female Major almost mocking the school.
"Then you know the way." she pointed out to him.
"Could you get a medic to heal or see to my pupil?" He requested from the Major.
"Yes Master Gredaro, Al-Giadin get over here!" She barked at a crowd of Vestrisians who were starting a fire to keep warm.
A Morgadran fumbling a box of medical appliances came up to them. This male finally got a hold of the medical box. He appeared a little nervous for a medic. On his arm and helmet were the symbols of a medic. Vests, and pockets were filled with medical supplies, and a satchel for a medic slung across him. A large medical bag hung over the other shoulder.
"Y-yes, M-Major!" al-Giadin reported in to the Major.
"See to this Wizard's pupil." Major Cunnoris ordered the medic.
Gredaro led the medic inside the tower. They found Amerius stirring in pain. His maids were giving him comfort. They got out of the medic's way so he could do his job. Al-Giadin still shook because of something else. Using a calming spell Gredaro touched his side. That calmed him down. With gentled hands the Medic checked the youth and started wrapping his wounds. Once the pupil's wounds were dressed the medic called for a stretcher to come over. He looked at Gredaro explaining the reasons for shacking so much. Something about the Unknown Lands scared him to the marrow. The Wizard gave him a wary expression. He was unsure this one should even be here. A Gantronese vehicle came rolling up to the tower. Ten Vestrisians pointed their rifles and sub machine guns on the vehicle. Tensions rose up until the driver revealed himself to be a smiling overzealous Kaniiman Corporal. When the troops of Vestrisians saw it was only him they threw dirt at him, cursed him and jeered him.
"Illomorse drive these people to that large house we passed on the way here." Major Cunnoris ordered. "Gredaro bring your wounded pupil over here."
"Ladies go with him and leave. Our belongings will follow you." Gredaro commanded them. Each maid obeyed him and joined the wounded pupil.
The Goblin Fytbak came to his side again as the pupil was taken over to the vehicle on a stretcher. Amerius was sure to heal under Ubelle's care. She knew the healing arcane spells. It was rare to learn such magic these days. It had been lost over the millennia due to persecutions, witch hunts that had to be brought down for the sake of survival. Gredaro looked down at the Goblin. Fytbak could prove useful and carry luggage with levitation spells.
"Wait with the luggage." Gredaro told the Goblin who obeyed.
"Yes Master Gredaro. Should I also request a vehicle from these Vestrisians?" the half Goblin replied to him with the question.
"Do what can be done." Gredaro sent Fytbak on this little task.
The Wizard left the all the Vestrisians alone. Although this was now the plane he started to regret moving. He ascended back up the tower steps. Remembering the names of the Wizards and mages he trained alongside became harder. This had nothing to do with age, but the current pressure of the situation he faced. Ubelle was one Sage Mage outside the clich he was in. Eight names entered his mind, Tyen the Aqua Mage, Egorse the Manipulating Charmer, Madox Azzin, Odelin of Oracles and Runes, Veleus Vorpalist Enchanter, Apan Jonari, Ishann Hoqinn of wiccan molded with mystics, and Eforahim of Flame, bolts, and vocal-ism. Each one of these colleagues knew others who would help out. Instead of using some new technologies and a new method he sent flying squirrels. He knew it would not be taken seriously but he went with it any ways. All eight of the furry messengers carried a simple opal stone. Thanks to his magical experimenting these squirrel messengers could get the job done and get back to him.
Nine experimental flying squirrels set off to the eight colleagues and the Tante Republic. He knew the Modernized state would find it humorous and reject the message without any arcane users there. Gredaro hoped to have a meeting with in a room with the colleagues and a senator-envoy who would take it seriously. Now that there was a massive war going on. In his mind he imagined the islands of Ivodra, Malvieth, Rovantra, and Alagen rejecting his requests. Although the Tante Republic had governance over seven member island states, all their business had to be passed and approved by other states. It was really the political business that had to be approved. Everything else was considered matters of trade.
When he was ready, Gredaro went down to leave his home. He did not want to delay any further. Going through the tower would only bring back tear jerking memories. Fytbak loaded all their belongings into another Gantronese transport that was stolen. A wooden cart wagon was hooked to the transport. The elf goblin took the driver's seat. Gredaro did not look back. Upon leaving his tower for good he mumbled a name under his breath. A name of someone from his past.
"Niza."

The Guvmari Isles and Straight Intervention 601
For a full hour they flew into the air of this "exotic" multi-terrain world the IGC recently discovered. One squadron of fourteen pilots flew their speeders. Squadron Leader Aibus MacAod kept trying to shake the tearful sounds of the mass pipes and drums his entire world of clansmen played upon his departure. He was selected among his brethren and peoples of his world to fly with the elites of the IGC this particular planet. All over the span of a few systems and one galaxy they fought the Order of the Beast, the Chaotic Surprise, and the Imperialist Gantronese Empire that expanded. Their presence was not clear on this one world. Five of his own squad members were born on a space station. Two came from the same moon, three came from the same system. As for the rest, they were royals, and nobles from different planets. One in particular had a dispute with his "brother". Amonis was his nickname. His story involves him becoming a Prince through adoption despite his lowborn-slave status.
Amonis left only to return demanding his people to be freed after discovering the truth. Here he was with thirteen others flying on a mission. The only way his brother would free his people was that he flew on this mission then came back. Everyone thought that was a crazy and figured he was a nutcase. Aibus checked with his thirteen pilots to make sure they were all in. One of them was listening to music. Fighter Pilot Jessek Armene from the Moon of Ponteros had a bad habit of listening to some music. He always had something playing into his ear. Aibus had not time for that. He switched the shared inner com for the music to be shared with the whole squadron. It was a tactic used to embarrass aviators, and pilots alike in order to get them back in line. Emut the former caretaker of some motel guffawed. One time he had his number and enjoyed messing with him acting like a woman just to troll. Naginee started laughing out loud giving off the witch impression. Leah the Egg Girl from a college on an isolated continent tried to keep it together. As for the rest of them, Sveni, Finnsley, Barrow, Petricus, Magridusa, Tissin, Olladi, Runkins, and Lessien Hyles kept quiet until they could not hold it in.
"Quiet, dammit, quiet! SHUT UP!" He commanded then everything was quiet.
"Good! I want all squad mates to form up on my wings" Aibus urged for his squadron to follow orders.
"This here is the Guvmari Isles. It trails off from the peninsula you can make out in the distance." He informed them.
"All we have to do is flying around and see what locals there are on this planet. Do not engage them in any way. If we do land just pray there is someone like Agovis or Nunjimi to pick us up."
"What about the music he listened to? That was too bizarre and weird." one of them protested still on the musical subject.
"Can it! Then you will just have to listen and enjoy it while your in your own little cockpits! Now keep your eyes peeled!" MacAod demanded from the squadron.
They kept flying past the Guvmari islands and towards a large landmass up ahead. He squinted his eyes eyeing what he thought looked familiar. Forming up were thirty-one large ships shaped like thick daggers. From the sides flew smaller craft he thought looked like talons. Scores of these talon shaped fighters swarmed up on them. With little to no time to react all fourteen were taken down. Aibus prayed they would land in the ocean safely and be picked up by locals or by an ally. Relying on both of these ideas he let his craft crash into the water, which only knocked him out. MacAod woke up in a cell wet from the ocean. He did not know if he was in enemy hands or those of the enemy's clutches. Down the hall a door opened revealing daylight was still present. He had some hope of relief until several figures who look just like him came up to his cell. Two shorter ones, a Prince, and another figure clad in what appeared to be a pirate's black long coat from some other era fashioning a goatee. The others appeared to be a Champion-Knight, some Field Marshall, and a Crusader in gray armor.

Intervention 557 on Sanyth, Oturn
Their pilots did not hesitate to turn leftward to the very part of this archipelago they were supposed to land on. Enius spotted hundreds of these strange platforms dotting the archipelago of islands and islets. His only thoughts were on the mission of seizing one of these, and whether the CSO were here or someone else. At this time the IGC or Inner Galactic Coalition were in full conflict with the Chaotic Surprise Oligarchy, Order of the Beast, and a semi conflict with two other expanding empires. Drawing closer to the intended target made him nervous for some reason. He had a platoon of elites and no other back up until the main invasion force had assembled. As for knowledge of these natives not much was known other than trade, and culture. Oturn was divided into twelve or fifteen kingdoms that often fought among each other.
Whatever the borders of the Sanyth Kingdom were he could tell from this height. Squinting his eyes he saw people walking about on the islands and around the platform they were to land on. Shaped liked a goblet this metallic structure stood at 47 stories tall. Dusk was approaching fast on this part of Oturn. His platoon's gunship went down to land. Landing when the enemy can see was never a good sign. This time the enemy appeared oblivious to this. Enius had his platoon prepare to show no mercy unless the hostile surrendered. Touching down the platoon jumped off the gunship. Enius was the last to jump and land on the top of this platform. Finding the door on the roof was no problem as they found a short tower that led to the interior. His platoon stormed the structure gunning down everything in their path. Zero platoon member stopped or even pondered as they progressed through the structure. Making their way down to each level made it feel like they were going underground. Enius shot every few floors as his platoon kept moving and missing the ones who hid from them. Non stop moving brought them to the bottom in twenty minutes of killing 114 hostiles inside this platform.

Dormany's Armies
Whenever he came to a tavern with his troop of mercenaries he tried to drown out the news of music being played. Before a singer or bard that had their sweetheart interest at the front took stage he left. This time he wasn't going anywhere. While seeking an escape from the past nightmares of watching comrades die, and the constant struggle to find acceptance, and hard work he joined Dormany's military. Most enemies came from the shores of Veerland, Kashmanol, and the tundra or forests opposite the great lake they shared with the elf state of Derol, Lornav, and Ehkbullar.
Now he was a Recruitment Officer for the military. His old stomping grounds was ripe with plenty of raw recruits and draftees. It gave a hint of rejoice and some relieving revenge inside Theodann. Satisfied with this job he waited for the opportune moment. While he sat at the table for military personnel he witnessed 141 contestants get thrown into three piles outside the inn. Quite a pile up for a tournament. He thought to himself taking another drink. Thankfully the tournaments were held in a large space in the common area. All the losing contestants were thrown outside. One single sore loser got up at the same time as 53 others. Nothing but Jeers, mocking phrases, name calling, and laughter were sent after them.
Just sixty-six contestants lay unconscious on the cobble stone street of Murkford. The fifty-three contestants who got up just walked away in shame. As for the twenty other contestants, they rolled around in pain. One sore loser that got up drew a dagger from his baggy trousers. The very moment this sore loser reentered the common area wielding a weapon, Recruitment Officer Theodann Enkerel got up. As he stood up from his seat every one froze. Armed with nothing, but a baton cane Theodann found his first recruit. He proved to be too quick for the sore loser contestant. Theodann knocked the weapon from his hand then swung it rightward to catch the contestant across the face. In a quick maneuver he swung down on the shoulder blade forcing the contestant down. Now on their knees this sore loser was raw for recruitment. Theodann held his first recruit of the night with the baton crane bearing down on them.
Ignoring the eyes of the patrons, and employees Theodann took the first recruit to the recruiting barracks. He was not the only Recruitment Officer in the city of Murkford, Dormany. They brought in dead beats, who owe money, drunkards, gamblers, drug addicts, thieves, some outlaws, fanatics, and those sick bogeymen who preyed on children. Eighty Dormanian military Recruitment Officers teamed up for this job. For the next three weeks they rounded up raw recruits for the armed forces of Dormany. With the help from the police, sheriffs, and families they rounded up a divisions (legion) worth of recruits. While they prowled the streets and the country side they found drunkards, hit men, dead beats, gamblers, drug addicts, thieves, of all kinds, thugs, gangsters, squatters, outlaws, brawlers, cultists, and bogeymen. That gave them 11, 083 law breakers and nutcases for Murkford's contribution. While they were in the middle of scouring Murkford families came up to them with their screw ups, black sheep, squares, slackers, the outcasts, and the outsiders they never liked. Thanks to those families that gave them an additional 2, 851 along with more draftees. Before they marched them off all the killers, inmates, and convicts were handed over.
For Murkford's contribution to the armed forces a total of 18,457 were taken in. That still left Murkford 1,906,318 people within its limits. Whatever was going on beyond Lornav's borders was concerning. News of an invasion in Kashmanol caused more confusion than actual fear. It was usually the Orcs and such that invaded at times. To the far west the Drasdal States were still divided since their own rebellions, revolts and civil wars. Reports of a massive wave of off worlders overran Kashmanol's defenses. Many of those invaders were killed and halted. More waves of these invaders from the stars came down forcing some other invading faction called the Nazdar to rain bombs down all over Kashmanol. According to eyewitness accounts they flew what many believed to be metal bats or birds. Getting a closer looked revealed what they saw were actually aircraft bombers. Weapons in this world were becoming advanced in certain places. Through trading and deals a lot of states were acquiring advanced weapons for their own defenses. Dormany had the luck of the draw thanks to their geography. Ehkbullar the Dwarf nation had factories mass producing guns. This allowed them to keep all borders secured. Even the Elves took this opportunity to chip in. New weapons did not mean old ones had to go. In a state with 70 million each city could marshal a defensive army. Each city of Dormany used to be their own independent city-state.
Murkford had several enemies before the unification. It could field a considerable force. Just in case the need arose they had a defensive army. Murkford's Police force fielded 6,361 across the city. Sheriffs numbered 250 to maintain peace in the countryside. As for guards Murkford 11, 369 to protect the citizens while keeping the peace and maintaining order. For the dark of the night only 835 watchmen patrolled the streets the police could not get to. That was only for law enforcement and peace keeping. Also some 174 vigilantes helping out peeled off some pressure.
For an all out invasion or attack Murkford had 15,087 regular soldiers. In its reserves a total of 18,162 soldiers. Just in case the soldiers and law needed aid 18,480 civilians formed a militia plus 50,000 when the city faced a threat at its doorstep. Although times changed there was still some use for old professions. Rangers had about 189 prowling the surrounding area. Their Bowmen force showed 7,271 archers. Archery was a skill that needed plenty of training, good eyes, and practice. Murkford also witnessed warriors and elite fighters rise up to defend her. Some 55 Knights, and 314 warriors acted as commanding officers to the militias. As for volunteers about 39, 179 veterans and 2,540 citizens. That totaled 170,266 defenders.

Gredaro the Wizard
The Wizard clambered down the ladders and staircases until he reached the main door. As Gredaro descended the tower the banging continued. He passed a few inhabitants who woke up groggily. Just a few were scared. His pupil Amerius, the Goblin-Elf Fytbak Magris, a dark elf maid named Icude Vozat, and a mage in training, Pasior poked their heads out of their rooms. He waved for them to go back to bed when the banging came again. Gredaro was fuming now as he descended to the main door. He wanted to fry whoever disrupted them this time of night in the outskirts of Oramatra. When he opened the door he found twelve Gantronese at the entrance.
"What do you want at this hour?" Gredaro demanded of the Gantronese.
"As an Officer of the Imperial Gantronese Forces I am authorized to send out warnings to all living outside city limits." the Gantronese said.
"What? We had permission from Oramatra's ruling governors themselves. Was there a take over?" Gredaro asked him knowing what was said in the Deed from Oramtra.
"Under Gantronese jurisdiction no one is to live outside city limits. You have a week to move." this Officer informed Gredaro.
"Who orchestrated this? Was it that Prince, or was it the bimbo Priestess Heraxian?" Gredaro demanded.
"That is none of your business Wizard! The Vestrisians are just about to invade our empire in exactly 24 hours! Now get moving!" the Officer demanded.
"Leave? But, but this is our home, we've always lived in this tower! Master Gredaro do not let them move us please!" One of his pupils were almost in tears from hearing this news.
"Get your runts to shut up!" A Mulzaneen trooper barked.
"Hush my pupils hush go back to bed!" Gredaro commanded.
"You have three days to pack your belongings and leave for Oramatra. Good Night Wizard." the Gantronese sneered at them. The officer waved a hand and a soldier pulled Gredora's door closed.
Two days went by with no disturbance from the Gantronese authorities. Gredaro had a stern conversation with the Prince's sister Nimoa who urged him to comply. She had to convince him that Heraxian was no longer at the Prince's side. Oramatra's main Prince married a noble girl from Kilscar Orvain, another city-state under the thumb of these Gantronese. Gredaro had his pupils pack up what they could and placed all the bags and suitcases at the foot of the steps. This allowed him to contact a few other wizards he knew. Through a lost art in arcanism he was able to communicate with a few others when the Gantronese burst into his home. Gredaro had to cut the conversation short to deal with the Gantronese himself. Who else would have the nerve to burst into a Wizard's home like that? His ears picked up their boots, and yelling in that angry panicked language of theirs. Gredaro came to the stairs when he heard the Vestrisians began their invasion, and that all buildings outside the city had to be garrisoned for ambushes. That was fine by him, but what was not fine with Gredaro was one of his own pupils getting pushed down the spiral staircase.
Looking down he saw who it was, Amerius. What made things worse was a servant of theirs getting shot for getting in the way of the Gantronese soldiers. Gredaro, his assistant Fytbak Magris sent fireballs at the Gantronese who came up the stairs. As he levitated from the floor he glided down to meet the new enemy. During his descending glide he heard shooting from the jungles. Those Vestrisians he was warned about already began their invasion. He presumed it was an expedition sent by sea to launch an assault behind enemy lines. Upon exiting his home he found the Gantronese engaged with the invading Vestrisians. Gredaro realized who the true enemy was.

Intervention 555
Captain of the Squad Dasis checked their mission. Somewhere in the waterfront was a Gantronese Overlord Admiral, and a Catward ally to the Gantronese. As this Gantronese Empire expanded like other empires across the universe they used races and individuals with knowledge for charters of entire systems. The Inner Galactic Alliance and Coalition sent them to capture both and collect as much data on one particular system. Dasis put away the data pad wondering what this system was that attracted such attention. Griffon 5538 landed in a clearing beside an abandoned homestead. Twelve Lamia got off the transport prepared to complete a mission. The three other commandos took positions around the transport ready to shoot anything. Dasis led the squad through the trees towards some docks. His assembled squad for this covert abduction was made up of the best his faction had to offer to the IGC. Brawlers turned to conscripted Champions, Expert Blades, Hunters turned to Sharpshooters, Bowmen turned to Marksmen, Warriors turned to Weapons, and Outlaws turned to reliable Shock Troopers. Male and Female Lamia made up this squad. Their names went through his mind as they slithered to the Waterfront. Napheus, Isocrelos, Kosorus, Thitios, Harphea, Nephise, Nesiphis, Thanosha, Kathesi, Ancaus, and Hespux were the male and female Lamia under his command during this mission. The other three were the female pilots, Sabosa, Aphosia, Apheris.
In the dark they drew closer to the targets. For them it was easy to spot a Gantronese frigate docked behind another ship on a landing pad that hovered above the water. Both space vessels appeared to be under guard by a battalion. Knowing how they operate this could be done in no time. What they did not count on was for a crew of pirates to be nearby. Isocrelous the outlaw was a hacker and robber who was tasked with data and scanning the area alongside Kathesi the Hunter (Poacher). Using his tech skills and her ability to track down targets they scanned the area using a scope attached to a screen that showed every person in the sites. It was in the night vision screen setting which made things easier. A total of 438 Catwards, Gantronese and other races guarded the two targets along with others. Both Gantronese and Catward high ranking figures were holding a meeting inside a hotel they secured.
Hardly any of the Reegvall natives could be seen in this part of the waterfront. Most places like this would be full of people. The Gantronese invasion scared people into hiding in their own homes. Seeing no civilians meant no collateral damage to report. Dasis would be up to his neck in court martial punishments if it happened again. His last one did not go as smoothly. Getting inside the hotel was easy in the dark. Just three guards had to be taken out in the shadows. Dasis' squad slipped inside the hotel in search of the Gantronese and the Catward. No shots were fired yet as they scoured each floor swiftly. All they had to was find a room or two under guard. On the sixth floor they found one of their rooms. Under guard by Gantrons and Samurai Oni the Gantronese target held a rank of Daimyo-War Boss of some sort. That did not matter to him or his squad, only their mission mattered. As one his squad attacked the guards, taking them out without warning. None of these guards saw this coming and died easy enough.
Without any hesitation Dasis' squad barged into the room and found their first target. In his robes the Gantronese VIP target was thrown in a body bag. Target number two was just upstairs. Using the stairs their snake like bodies progressed with little notice. Getting this one required a bit more brute force and surprise attack. In a quick maneuver they used flash grenades and rushed their next obstacles. They bulldozed through the blind guards who did not know what hit them until it was too late. As for the Catward target a small reptile creature jumped out the window of the room. It was one way the target could attract attention to their area. Throwing the Catward in a bag required some fighting. Forced to beat their target into the floor Dasis' squad attempted to get out the way they entered the hotel. Outside a skirmish sparked and transformed into a full-fledged shootout between the pirates, Gantronese and the Catward forces. Dasis led his squad through the darkness under fire. One of his Lamia fell dead as they exited the Waterfront area.
He wanted to grab the body, but was forced to leave it because ferocity of the fighting. Upon reaching their evac destination they witnessed the city erupt into rioting, gathered resistance, and mass protest to oust the invader peacefully. Protesting was a peaceful gesture to fight an occupier, however it would take more than that to even force a Gantronese army to move out.

4th of July
A new nation sounded like a promising prospect. England was thousands of miles away across the Atlantic. It took entire weeks even full months just to reach either land mass. Such a voyage would make some sick to their gizzards. Jedidiah accidentally shoved his face into some dirty pillows. When he looked up the woman only winked at him letting him pass. He was a very good looking man for this time. Well fed, wealthy, stocky, and strong. As he muscled his way to the door the speaker got up on a set up stage. Everyone cheered, and hollered with excitement. One screamed in his ear. Shaking his head a little he managed to reach the door. Someone shoved a jug full of alcohol in his hand. They patted him on the back roughly. The blow almost knocked the air out of him. Others helped him out calling him Sir Grove, or Lord Junior.
Once outside Jedidiah Grove Jr. also known as "Killie" opened the free jug and took a few swigs of its contents. It took away the doubts and troubles from his mind. His fear was that this new nation would strip away all titles calling men equal and there would be no more estates for the wealthy. It was to be handed over to the people. An idea that would scare his late father to the marrow. Jedidiah Killie had been to England twice, and London once. They never got to see the King like he wanted instead they meet and dined with an ancient Lord in Sussex. Jedidiah could have sworn he keeled over and the visit was cut short. Taking another swig he turned around to see a cloaked figure creeping around the Tavern. Looking at it he noticed its feet looked more pale, and more talon like. He looked at his jug wondering if the contents were this strong. Blinking a few times he called out to the cloaked figure who only waved him off revealing a claw instead of a hand. Worried about this creature Jedidiah yelled at the Tavern only to be drowned out by an uproar inside. Acting fast he pulled out a flintlock pistol and loads it as quickly as possible. When he had it primed and loaded Jedidiah aimed with a shaky hand and fired.
It caused a few people to scream inside only to be followed by cheers. Whatever this cloaked figure was it hissed with pain and slowly turned around. A few more figures emerged from the darkness. One group had regular boots and shoes while the other group had hooves, clove feet, talons, beastly feet, and feet of a lizard. When the monsters revealed their true nature Jedidiah threw his jug at one of them. He hit one of them taking one out of the fight. As both groups clashed he unsheathed a dagger and a tomahawk he was given by a friend who fought the Iroquois. Ready to kill anyone who went after him Jedidiah watched the fight progress then die down. Dozens lay on the ground lifeless. Next to him another figure emerged firing a pistol into the victorious group. When he looked he saw it was a redcoat officer with a few monstrosities as companions. It hit one of the victors and another shot hit the window of the Tavern. Unsure whether it hit an innocent or not he struck the officer with his tomahawk in the arm. He then jabbed the dagger into his throat. Startled by his sudden strike the others raced off into the dark of the woods. Jedidiah rushed to check on the victors who surrounded the one who got hit. He heard them speak in a different language. Curious he rudely pulled a hood down revealing a gold haired man with braids, clean shaven face, and pointed ears.
