Alagen Family Household

Storming towards the yard she expected to find that little fort of his demolished. Last year she found photographs turned to posters in a collection to be lewd for his age. Her little Badger kept hiding in their yard for fun. There was Ipsul, and Gaivos many prayed to. Her own piety, faith went to Alagen's goddess of wisdom and warfare Haphosis. Just the tall frame of a figure armed with spear, shield, clad in a stola dress, circlet crown kept her attention. Seeing that her little Badger did nothing to take down his fort made her disappointed. Even though this noble house of theirs possessed prestige, piety, loyalty, retinue, attributes, traits it did not possess command. Hondals, the Luluns, the Trolls, Dangilos, Geex, Fillfingers each commanded 636-1,240. Their duster cat with that bushy tail gray, white fur kept meowing at someone. Ignoring the meows she made her way to a crudely made fort. Instead of learning his Croweth, an Uxane language her little badger was adding to the fort he made.

Not bothering to stop him from continuing his own shambled construction Madam Jenny Equa grabbed the fuel can of jekris fuel from the garage. Although it was once a stable, the building was now a storage for vehicles. The racing sign that once hung on its walls was now in his room. With full knowledge that her little badger would cry her the mother always ensured her little ones were disciplined. Taking a deep breath, she thought of all five of her children her little Badger, little faun, her little birdy, her little wild tapir, her monkey was all she really had until her husband returned next month. Her second or third husband. Whatever the VUVR had her husband doing she wanted him back in her life. Those alien freakish invaders can keep Jurnis-Aleon continents. Setting fire to the badger's fort, her son, Trystan built Jenny left a pile of burnt lumber to clean up. It ruined the yard, but it got rid of the fort. Drawing the attention of neighbors, authorities, and available fire department she pulled her Badger away from the flames. Her own servants rushed out to put out the flames with those who jumped into put them out quickly.

Not sure if it was clear he was being punished he handed her badger, Terstan over to Dark Elf/Orc Hybrid female blade guardian Ochimush Gensokyo. Ochimush Gensokyo came from the oriental parts of Aleon-Jurnis. She often donned a long katana when going out. Ochimush's suual a lower half of a kimono robe, bandage wraps turned into a tube shirt, djinn style vest connected to lower kimono. Zero buttons could be seen on the vest that held the Ottante or Mezeen style. In accordance with her people's culture Ochimush added shoulder armor, arm braces, gauntlets made from bones, a skull shaped sporran, circlet from ivory with a skull carved from the ivory. Her long ponytail showed her own dedication to their civilization.

"Chi Chi take the badger back to his room. Leave him there until supper." She instructed their house bodyguard calling her by what the children call her.

"Anitta darling check the gardens along the edge after they cleaned up. See what is salvageable." She ordered this half troll female in green dress lined with flowers. Anitta possessed a lion like tail, boyish face with monkey ears, tannish skin with a hint of half Goblin spots on her limbs. Across her exposed cleavage Anitta possessed hieroglyph and calligraphy. Readjusting her shirt to cover everything Anitta broke into action to salvage what she could.

Her attention turned to the chaos she herself created. Morning periods her staff and servants found her in the best of moods. A maid she called Otaku helped put out the flames. Her blondish hair did not match her ascot added to the custom fit maid's outfit. Otaku wore the ascot to cover her exposed cleavage; her apron came down to her knees along with the dress uniform. White gloves acting as the sleeves exposed the upper arms while the uniform sleeves cover her shoulders. Even though she started the fire Madam Equa chose to watch her household staff put it out. Some of them were hired to watch over the children. She felt like that black mage with puppets to control. Equa wanted to grab her child up and thrown him into the pond for now listening. Yet it would not look good in front of the neighbors. His Literature Tutor, Natasla Vie stood look dumbfounded. Despite the humidity of Alagen's location she wore a white sweater wore hair in a blue dye with a red ribbon in it.

She only allowed her Badger outside when he was done with lessons. Equa made attempts to bring him outside more often. Going into town with him accompanying her. Over the course of seven days, she took him to different places including her workplace. At her workplace the southern plaza of Grimskull her Badger was expected to learn a bit more about Alagen, trade, business, art, music, health, priesthood. Inside a renovated plantation the plaza was built around Equa introduced him to multiple professions. Despite all of the staff, managers, maids, patrons, clients being ex-military their own professions showed themselves. In a wide garden-outing hat, sky blue open jacket, reddish long tunic with hide sleeves, white edges, blue dress, satchel a Grenadier Maiden presented herself. Wearing a pair of red gloves, and armbrace mix Mrs. Devian the Gardener-Wharf Baroness scheduled a meeting on their thirteen-month calendar. Equa dragged her son to other suites of the building.

One of the suites was the office of Mrs. Wight, her least favorite. Long blonde hair in a fashionable style called Aleeve that requires a circlet crown to hold up the ponytail. A long black dress with some parts revealing her body, fluffs at the bottom, sleeves tight around her arms, and leggings covering most of her legs. Her profession was in wine. Squinting her eyes in anger Equa ended their session of introducing her Badger to professions. Calling Mrs. Wight a bimbo wino under her breath. Upon their return home her other children pestered a Green Knight of Alagen. Not dressed in the usual knightly armor this one wore a more modern suit fitted with an ascot. For some reason he brought along a squire in a similar fashion holding the banner of a red brown cross white diamond in the center of the cross. Known as Colleccines Tornos this offered their services to join her team of six adventurers.

"Madam Equa I can join your team of adventurers consisting of different races. I offer myself as a Man at Arms, or scout for hire." He bowed his head revealing a small bald spot that looked more like a scalp from an Uxane warrior.

"You would have to contend with a wolf like dog if I am to hire you. Sir Tornos. You can find them in their own Lodge like Head Quarters over in the Evusian Isle of Yunqi Kai. There you will find a quartet of siblings who became co heads of the archer company the Damily Family owns. It is now a sharpshooter and marksman company. Just bear the blonde and freckles."

"I can handle any beasts." Tornos swayed his head side to side with loftiness. She gestured for him to join them for dinner.

"Trading words with you is easier than most on the social side." Equa nervously asserted to the knight.

At dinner most of their family sat at the table. Her daughter Nimue whom she nicknamed Faun was an active clarinet player aiming to be a Security Mage. Odette the Birdy broke into song when it became too quiet for her. Yet the courses she took in school involved alchemy, foreign criminology, social studies, healing magic, a dying practice, Dance. As for her Monkey, Traveling, adventuring, Runes, Politics, Combat Riding, and Monster Recognition. Nicknamed Monkey, Luke Equa fixed to become one of Alagen's Modern Dragoons or Heavy Calvary. Her wild tapir took ballet, vocals, photography, dancing, fencing, arcane magic. Lobellia Equa was destined to be a talented star or celebrity in Alagen. Now her own Badger, Trystan Equa had to choose a profession or two. Being the youngest of the family his own destiny had to be chosen. Sir Tornos told them tale of horror about a monster that sheds its skin every season. It got a shocking reaction from Luke, and Lobellia who normally scoffed, or smirked at such tales. Her other children showed mixed reactions. Trystan her badger showed a bit more interest. Luke felt obligated to listen as Tornos went on about the cults or mobs that controlled parts of Evusia. She found herself mentioning on group called the Havoc Hoodlum Hive Hegemon.

Kiki Tadow, a former Rogue, Military Police with a rank of Lieutenant dealt with that particular group several years ago. During her first years hearing about them Kiki spied on them giving an estimate of 556 members. It became 3,000 members while she continued spying on them. She now worked at a Castle Library in a Castle style academy at the end of town.

In the hopes that Trystan Equa her Badger would find some purpose or future she offered him as a squire to Tornos. While desert was served by butlers Grandma Gimmerson entered as any Vortex Runner Witch would. Frustrated Lady Equa got up to confront her own mother. Identical to her, but older Grandma Gimmerson was more rebellious in regard to entry. This was the fifth time her own mother did this to her.

"I insist you come over in the normal fashion when visiting." Lady Equa persisted after multiple years of her mother coming in using magic.

"That is too dull, and it takes an eternity. I come with a gift from your husband to your children. A man who is putting his life on the line against those invaders. Captaining a Destroyer sent to the west. Therefore, I bring a Naval Cutlass for your children to mount on the wall above the fireplace." Grandma Gimmerson raised a blade in a sheath in her two hands towards the seated children.

Overjoyed to see her again they rushed to greet her. In a group hug the children embraced their grandmother who came to visit them. Two of the eldest grabbed the sword and mounted it above one of the fires. One of Lady Equa's butlers offered Gimmerson wine. She requested Meer an alcoholic beverage deathly brewed in Alagen. Sitting down with the children she read a letter from their father. Feeling a little defeated Jenny Equa gave them the larger guest room often used as a backup study. At the doorway with Tornos being escorted to another guest room Jenny listened to her mother read the words from their father, her husband. While she listened intently the letter addressed to her about a gift for her in the wharf. Her own adventuring group for hire can use those gifts. A Gantronese Armored Scout platform boat, and an alien patrol boat that can sort of pass of as a new invention. Each would be arriving by the end of this week or so. Chilled to the bone about his gifts Jenny had to accept such a gift. In her mind both would receive a new paint job or two.

Having relatives visit her house made her uncomfortable on a personal note. Especially when they are known for practice arcane spells, and such. Her own mother left such the way she arrived only it wasn't in the middle of the hall. Gimmerson rather enjoyed dressing in hideously glamorous clothing that belonged in a bad parody. Even though she was her mother it was difficult to understand why she never adapted to modernized attire of this industrializing world. Yet herbologists and chemists found a way to grow trees ten times faster to compensate for deforestation. Something out of fiction in her mind yet it somehow worked. Back at the office suite she had Badger look at the different professions right after his courses were finished. While there she searched for other prospects to introduce him to. A ransom agent known as Fred Fohner- Fox working to achieve the impossible, getting an Aristocrat held hostage by the Nazdar. All he had at his disposal were the currency of Lotus along with another currency called Melis. Just the thought of her own son having to speak to those invaders made her squirm.

Going to another suite she a wine enthusiast who advertised new vintages. As deliciously satisfying as the tasting would be Jenny snapped out of her little addiction for wine. Realizing her little Badger, Trystan Equa was too young she deemed this profession as inappropriate due his current age range. In the same building were six members of the Nomadic Arcane Wives made shop in the building of office suites. This was more of a coven or guild like faction that recruited both sexes into their organization. One of them in a conjurer's armor over a fine dress mentioned a Guild War dying down then starting up again every five years. Watching her husband go off to fight those aliens left a bitter taste in her mouth even though she was gearing her eldest offspring to serve Alagen. She hoped their service would lead them to Meze Evusia, Evusia itself, Redrin Isles, or helping the VUVR tame its annexed territories. While wandering this suite she met a lovely pirate lady. Not particularly dressed as a one this one known as Peyton Etchart wore the business attire with red stripes mixed with the fine pirate boots.

Introducing herself to Madam as Captain Peyton Etchart she made a pose a pirate would when their success in digging up treasure was photographed or painted. Her parrot named Giselleukardi revealed how she acts as the Wharf Master for the Bostati warehouses. Peyton confirmed she was in charge of those warehouses with a license she snatched up from her desk. Next door to the Wharf Master sat an office with an agent for Homesteading in the Unknown and Bookkeeping on landscaping. Jenny Equa got his name, address, and number. Fredders Bangerang, 593 Horntail Avenue, Grimskull, call number 4726-1021. Taking his card, she collected up Trystan Equa the Badger of her family. She also considered Etchart's position in the port. A week passed as she had Trystan read up on the ports, and homesteading. Passing through town they have the town center in their point of view between the Library, and Gazebo. Rather large compared to most gazebos this one was encircled perfectly by trees and some fences. At the base of one large tree, she spotted a couple passing time in the open lot of the Town Center. A female Dark Elf and Male Orc became each other's fine company.

While her youngest suffered the arduous task of learning about landscaping she gave the Wharf profession a consideration. Right after a meal towards the end of the week she announced they would be taking a trip to the east coast. On the end of the Alagen Kingdom's large island lay a Harbor choked with ports, docks, and wharfs. Thanks to the new acquaintance she made at the office suite. Captain Peyton met them at an isolated dock in Hock Harbor next to Astin Harbor. Covered in gill nets, ropes, long lines with hooks that appeared like decor draped from post to post. Fish traps cluttered most of the rather large, isolated dock. Down the road along the coast, they spotted three older vessels a Cog, a Caravel, and Brigg. Each modified to fit the usage of a modern world. Allowing Captain Peyton to lead them to the next Harbor whose border was marked by a lighthouse they traveled to Astin Harbor to meet an Aristocrat from Lesdonia.

Called the "Axus" Port Master Seymour Mikka who was one of ten running the show in Astin Harbor. Consisting of a dense population of 636,000-1,000,000. Lined up along the coast the forming Harbor these sections had their own settlements. The docks, fisheries, or Durnos a term for shipyard took up several spaces equivalent to villages and towns. Astin Harbor became one large city with different types of docks lining the harbor. A Local fishery or now a leading fishery called Pam made up the end of Astin Harbor. Trading Port known as a Mocking held a fleet of vessels passing to and from port. Astin's Drydock known as Wright with twelve slots to hold multiple vessels each for repairs, or cleaning. Commercial Basins known as Elsa Yaya stretched out from the center. Another fishery called D'Bonem flourished like an independent settlement. Cut into different sections Astin Harbor possessed a Naval Hospital called Jarpson where wounded sailors or fishermen, dock workers are housed. A Global Trading Center called Veilleux Troy was also a part of Astin Harbor. Several modern docks with a dozen tankers, cargo ships, trawlers in the process of making port. A few appeared to be moored or docked properly whereas one appeared sloppy. One isolated dockyard called Jorbelle presented itself as large as small city. Each of these sections had its own town center despite Astin Harbor possessing a main building for the office of Mayor. If anyone looked at Alagen's governing body for settlements, they would see these sections acting as their own settlement violated regulations. Only one town center was really necessary for the entire settlement.

Visiting the Port Master that Captain Peyton suggested the Equas found his building close to a Town Center in Drydock Wright. Just opposite the Wharf Warehouse that had no roof. Setting up a meeting for you and them is what she wanted to tell Trystan Equa. When they first entered, she thought they entered a museum for weapons. Mounted on the walls prized totems, harpoons, crossbows, maces, large daggers, a lance, bill hook, ship hooks, longswords, katana, scimitars, ancient leaf shaped blades, spears, shields decorated the main hall. She thought she spied some cutlasses from an era thought to be dead. A handful of boarding axes, several rapiers, and rifles with fixed bayonets. Going further into the building they found the walls decorated with various shields from different parts of Calorn or at least the explored parts. Port Master Seymour Mikka's own office was decorated with an assortment of antiques, vintage, weapons, wigs, helmets, flag and banner. Flanked by the banners a cabinet shelf filled with usual contents of a shelf. At the bottom they spotted a stuffed dead monkey. Bottled ship collection depicted a Xebec, fishing ship, Sloop, Galley, a Galleon, Caravel, and Holk. On the desk sat a trade cog in a bottle next to a Globe. Draped on the desk Seymour Mikka had a horse cloth coat of black with a gold horse head for a coat of arms. Looking up Port Master Mikka, a half elf with a mustache, small balding spot thick head of hair, business suit mixed with a tunic, bone style buttons, brass gorget over the tie. His spectacles appeared more for reading that seeing his new clients. From the corner of the office a tall olive brown skinned warrior from Ottante in dark tunic robes armed with a curved sword emerged. It scared the children and Madam Equa.

"It is alright he is one of eighteen guards who gets paid four hundred fifty Calornese Globes guarding the Wharf. I have thirty-seven working the docks yet have need of an apprentice. Sit down." Port Master Mikka gestured for them to sit down.
